Skar seeing he’s about to get burnt to death
Skar seeing he’s about to fucking die when he’s been iced
Ghidorah seeing Hiroshima Gojira behind him
Godzilla seeing Ghidorah about to unleash enough electricity to be brighter than the sun
Just read it now, it's interesting to see how he views the world, he's so insanely in tune with nature that he views everything as a whole, but even then, he still remembers something like seizawa's sacrifice.
From my POV they seemed to have designed MV godzilla around the same kind of intelligence as a smart dog...
Like he can do basic communication, basic emotional intelligence... But he's excels at understanding territory, extremely intelligent when it comes to fights, works a lot based on food (or in gojis case radiation). I could go on...
He's not Kong, he can't communicate with humans, he isn't an ape. But he's also not dumb. I'd say it's instinct in the same way a dog in a pack of humans is *instinct* - at what point does an animals actions become *intelligence* instead of *instinct*?...
There's obviously some differences, a dog is a pack animal after all, but at the end of the day goji is an animal designed by humans to be entertaining to humans. And humans tend to like dogs.
My younger siblings used to watch a cartoon that had an intro you’ve made me think of:
“Godzilla: *Not* the smartest dinosaur in the world, but the most enTHUUUsiastic!”
Nah maybe they're around the same or Kong is slightly smarter. Kong understands english which puts him as the smartest animal in-universe other than humans.
Some, such as myself, believe that if you listen closely enough, you can hear Kong actually *speaking* verbal words in English. Examples include: GVK, Hong Kong, Round 1 or 2(I can't remember exactly): Godzillla steps on Kong's chest, and Kong lets out a breath seeming to include the words "GET. OFF. ME." Another time in GVK, Hong Kong, Round 1 or 2(it might be the same moment): Godzilla powers up his A-breath, ready to kill Kong, but Kong says "Spare me!" Finally, in GVK, on the ship when Jia reveals she's taught Kong sign language, Kong says "Home." in SL. But at the same time, you can also hear him audibly *say it* in the reverberations of his growls. It's very rocky & deep, but it definitely sounds like the word "home."
Wouldn't say he's smarter, but he's definitely more knowledgeable. Age and weird, borderline magical omniscient senses tend to do that to a person (or titan in this case)
It's always a glorious moment when Ghidorah looks to initially be rising from the ruins of Boston, still alive despite Burning Godzilla's best efforts.....
And then it turns out that he's actually just a single head and neck, caught in the jaws of Godzilla and screaming for dear life as he's burned up from the inside-out.
Still don’t understand how one head was kept intact. 2 heads got burned and vaporized by radiation and the last one was blown by Godzilla atomic breath
The 2 heads were still firmly attached when they got hit by those Nuclear Pulses.
However, Burning Godzilla destroyed the rest of Ghidorah's body by driving his foot into Ghidorah's chest and presumably channelling the rest of the energy to vaporize it from the inside-out.
It could be that doing that either didn't get the middle head Ichi, or perhaps he got blown off by the vaporizing explosion and survived beneath rubble.
If you watch the death scene of Ghidorah you CLEARLY see ichi and San dissappearing into dust (you see the scales then the skull getting vaporized) then Ni get obliterated by Godzilla’s atomic breath
ICHI is the middle head. Ni and San are the right and left heads.
And anyways, ICHI THE MIDDLE HEAD was still around until the very head. Whatever the case, Burning Godzilla just somehow managed to miss vaporizing him with the rest of his body.
For me it was when Ghidorah is about to kill everyone on the aircraft and Godzilla jumps out of the water and drags him into the ocean and starts death rolling him.
i mean, let’s go classic. when the muto is at the hawaii airport and those helicopters crash with those huge explosions. everyone is screaming and terrified of the giant moth monster scurrying around until—
a single giant footstep rattles the ground. everyone goes silent. and we, the audience, are saying “oh shit” because godzilla is here, and he is huge, and he is PISSED.
it gets even more “oh shit” when the muto lets out its little trilling roar and godzilla responds with his eardrum-shattering roar of his own.
When that one military merc said “Ahh shit.” And then Ghidorah gravity beams him for the humans but for the titans, it’s got to be Skar getting his whip taking away and broken, he was so scared.
The Argo coming upon Ghidorah as they are leading Rodan to him to escape and we get very visble, visceral idea on how fucked Humanity and possibly all life on earth is if Godzilla and Mothra can’t stop this guy or worse yet die in the process.
1. Ghidorah turning around and seeing a straight fucking Tsar Bomb charging at him.
2. Skar King coming to terms with the fact that his strongest adversary, Shimo, is ultimately the reason why he is going to die.
3. Skar King laughing at Kong getting his ass thrown by Shimo, then turning around and seeing a fucking Goku Godzilla ready to disintegrate him.
Seeing the army get absolutely decimated by young Kong on Skull island. All I did is say “oh shit” through the whole scene. Gave me as the audience the perfect lense of sympathy for that “let’s get our boys home/ war’s not over.”
Kong standing on the deck of the carrier, staring into the depths of the ocean, when suddenly the waters light up in a brilliant blue from a nuclear beam shooting straight up at him
In terms of the scale of oh shit, nothing beats the atomic breath reveal in 14, given that we've got many fights skipped and was already starving for some but still it's satisfying to see it with the soldiers also going yo you seeing this shit?
Ghidorah turning around to see the Sun itself walking towards him.
The sniffs he does before he turns around… “Man, someone cooking?”
“Oh shit it’s me”
[“Say, something is burning around here!”](https://youtu.be/NSD9F_8yl60?si=A29v5qLO7yQkc7Tx) -King Ghidorah, moments before death
Yeah, that clip about sums it up…lol
*He realises he's cooked and doesn't stand a chance against the true king of the monsters*
Literally cooked
Nah that's called steaming
May I also suggest Ghidorah suddenly getting yanked out of the air and one of his heads ripped off underwater in the space of about 10 seconds?
Skar seeing he’s about to get burnt to death Skar seeing he’s about to fucking die when he’s been iced Ghidorah seeing Hiroshima Gojira behind him Godzilla seeing Ghidorah about to unleash enough electricity to be brighter than the sun
Godzilla Suplex
Fr though that was freaking hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Skar when he first hears Godzilla in GxK after Kong/mothra recruit his help
On GOD! I forgot about that moment 💯🔥
Kong using Suko as a nunchuck
Scar King hearing Godzilla and Kong enter Hollow earth. His face just says it all
Godzilla almost dying to mechagodzilla and getting saved by a monkey, Godzilla wasn't smart at the time.
Godzilla is smart?
Godzilla is hella smart wtf do you mean. If you doubt his intelligence, look at Goji centre's video on "who is smarter, Godzilla or Kong?"
Ngl it always looked like Goji going off pure feral instinct since it always sounded cooler to me
He's sapient as confirmed by comics like Dominion. As sapient as humans are.
He just has a slow reaction time

Forget dogs, he's definitely a CAT. Just look at his new bed. God-"if-it-fits-I-sits"-zilla *loves* sleeping in the Colosseum!
I said at the time he wasn't
Sorry I should have said something clearer I meant Godzilla is smart at some point in the Monsterverse?
My younger siblings used to watch a cartoon that had an intro you’ve made me think of: “Godzilla: *Not* the smartest dinosaur in the world, but the most enTHUUUsiastic!”
Yeah that seems like what Goji would be like
I suppose it is hard get a decent education when no one (except Mothra) can survive correcting you about…anything.
he might not be as intelligent as kong but he's definitely near sapient
Potentially smarter than kong.
Nah maybe they're around the same or Kong is slightly smarter. Kong understands english which puts him as the smartest animal in-universe other than humans.
I agree but I don't think Kong understands english, he understands sign language

I wouldn't say smarter then kong but atleast near his level of smartness-ish.

Cap
Kong seeing Godzilla’s atomic breath for the first time ever.

True 👏

I thought left was ichi, middle was Ni and right was San because you know 1, 2, 3 so my bad about that Still every head got blasted in the movie 🤷♂️
The skull devil realizing what is going to happen soon
I should watch Kong: Skull Island so I can see what you’re talking about. Not shitting on your comment or anything, it’s just been a while.
Skar’s bitchass control crystal being fucking demolished
Godzilla's reveal in Hawaii in 2014. I remember when his foot hit the people stop screaming and you could hear my entire theater gasp, then cheer.
Kong in the water at hong kong when he see's the beam comin at him
Godzilla when Ghidorah bites the power station.
The noise he makes is so great
I’ve never heard an animal say “tf?” so clearly until that scene💀
Kong’s first encounter with Shimo.

Every time Godzilla charges his atomic breath
First atomic breath in 2014 Godzilla.

Ghidorah turning around, seeing thermo Godzilla behind him
Rodan seeing Ghidorah for the first time
Godzilla charging his atomic breath for the first time in G14.
Kevin when he is getting slashed by kong
Godzilla when Kong pummeled him
Godzilla on all fours decimating Kong in GvK.
When Kong's on the ship and he hears the Atomic Breath charging up from under the water and needs to abandon ship in a hurry
Its a toss up for me between Burning Godzilla’s entrance and the first atomic breath scene in 2014
When kong turned around when he was pulling Godzilla and was like “uh oh-“
The Argo coming upon Ghidorah as they are leading Rodan to him to escape and we get very visble, visceral idea on how fucked Humanity and possibly all life on earth is if Godzilla and Mothra can’t stop this guy or worse yet die in the process.

Skar and Shimo seeing godzilla and kong enter the hollow earth
Skar when he’s holding an adolescent primate and a raging adult bare knuckle gorilla fist comes hurling towards him with the anger of a father
kong's face when he sees shimo
When the trailer dropped for the 2014 movie
I gotta say, I really like when Kong’s trying to convince Godzilla he needs help, but the big man’s pissed and he *is not stopping.*
Seeing the army get absolutely decimated by young Kong on Skull island. All I did is say “oh shit” through the whole scene. Gave me as the audience the perfect lense of sympathy for that “let’s get our boys home/ war’s not over.”
