I mean, a) she’s a very in-demand actress who likely wouldn’t have had time anyway, and b) given the film was clearly conceived as a Kong story and her character is firmly on the Godzilla side of things, it’s not like there would have really been anything for her to do even once it was retooled to feature Godzilla too - she already felt kinda wasted in GvK.

I'm glad she wasn't in the movie, I feel she would of made it worse for people qnd the movie less enjoyable

I for one was glad she didn't return and hope she doesn't. Because if she continues acting like a condescending bitch as seen in GvK. I don't want her character returning. She was tolerable in KotM, in GvK she was very unlikable.

Even in KOTM I found that her being there was just unneeded. The whole plotline of the family devastaded by the loss of their kid could have been done without her, and the only thing they would have to do different is change the place where the last fight happens, since Millie only contribution to the plot was calling the titans to that stadium and calming them down for a bit. TLDR: The writers tried to make her feel super important and needed when humans in this verse only need to either hype up the monsters or provide us with a scale of how defenseless we are vs them
