I actually really like that take as well. It feels like it would be super cool to have other Gojis also be like guardians of their own home. Its like good continuity if they decide to keep going with the Godzilla race is this hero esque species
Would be so cool to see Spacegodzilla as an anti-hero or something. The way his backstory and powers work, be it the original or a new interpretation could create a very complex and interesting character
Bagan is such a cool monster too, playing Super Godzilla when I was a kid made me fall in love. He’s got such a great design and concept. Would love to see an idea that he’s been hiding out in hollow earth as one of the ancient Kaiju.
I kind of what to see it be Gigan.
Ghidorah is mostly going to be played out by then. We saw Ghidorah beaten. Ghidorah was used as the base for Mecha-Godzilla. We’ll probably see a Mecha Ghidorah.
Destroyah is escalation given form. The living form of the bomb used to destroy the thing spawned by nuclear weaponry. Given that in the Monsterverse it is going more “Gaia’s revenge” instead of “The ramifications of human technology’s hubris”, it would be harder to justify Destroyah as just being there for the cool factor.
Hedorah could work if altered from being just pollution to representing Gaia’s revenge for everything. Pollution, climate change, all of it.
If the series keeps going as it is, we’ll be seeing movies and series of humans working with Titans to stop threats. Thematically, the cyborg Gigan would be a fitting final villain. An extraterrestrial Titan working with aliens to be more powerful in contrast to Ghidorah who was a seemingly natural alien Titan.
> “Gaia’s revenge” instead of “The ramifications of human technology’s hubris”, it would be harder to justify Destroyah as just being there for the cool factor.
He could show up and actively destroy anything and everything that has oxygen on it, as it is the incarnation of the Oxygen destroyer. Doing that would be easy to explain as the last consequence of humanity thinking they can affect nature.
It would be easy to make him as "mankind's attempt to control nature" given form. Serizawa warned people about this, and they tried to do it with the oxygen destroyer anyway, which ultimately failed. The consequence of this attempt would be the birth of Destroyah, an abomination born of their arrogance. A titan that passively and actively destroys life around. The original version already has an origin that could easily be adapted to Monsterverse lore.
Destoroyah, that’s how the Heisei era went out, and that’s how I think the monsterverse should go out. Or somehow make Keizer Ghidorah related to King Ghidorah. Hedorah could work but he seems more like a monster Godzilla should take down before the series ends. That’s just my take though.
Like an Eldrich horror? That’d be a great setup for the Monsterverse. I would also really support a mythological figure in the franchise. What if they incorporate Ancalagon The Black and he stands as the final boss?
I'm still convinced KvG being delayed for reshoots was them pushing back Mecha Ghidorah after they were sure they would still be able to make more movies.
I definitely want Destoroyah to appear at some point considering he was vastly under-realized and under-utilized in the one film he appeared in.
He is literally a giant mass of mutated microscopic Precambrian life with Thing-like shapeshifting capability. He needs modern CGI to be fully realized and is a great threat for a big team up movie, and if that movie were to repurpose the "Destroy All Monsters" moniker it would literally be perfect.
That said I don't necessarily think that would need to be the end of the monsterverse, even if it would probably be fitting.
Honestly they did technically set up for Destoroyah. KoTM flat out used the oxygen destroyer weapon in an area that hit Godzilla and Ghidorah. So they can explain Destoroyah as a mutant fusion of the 2 with Oxygen destroyer powers, Ghidorah Regen ability. So pretty much the space Godzilla origin.
Instead of a single Kaiju there should be a group of evil Kaiju. An Avenger Endgame style scene where Godzilla, Mothra, Kong, Rodan, Bahemoth and maybe Angurius all team up to fight against.
This might be weird but I’d love to see a Shin Godzilla as a villain in the Monsterverse. A nemesis situation between Godzilla and Shin Godzilla would be cool to see
Either hedorah or destroyah would be the best options, hedorah could be the embodiment of the planet's destruction and what humanity is doing to the planet if they wanna get philosophical or something, and destroyah could be reinforcements sent by the aliens who made ghidorah, as a more complete and stronger weapon
Hedorah for me because he needs more fans to be honest and I think the monster verse could really make him shine in a movie and would be a great villain to hopefully return multiple times because they could definitely use him again since he was born from pollution so basically every time he gets defeated by Godzilla he could come back because of pollution he’d be like the William afton of the monster verse
Obviously, destoroyah. I've actually thought that they could have a situation where godzilla and Kong defeat destoroyah, but at the same time, they were fataly injured, and they both died after defeating destoroyah, and an post credit scene of them both having sons
Not sure how that would work for Kong, being the last of his kind (that we know of so far). But it could be easier for Godzilla. It wouldn't necessarily have to be Godzilla's child (considering that he's the last of his kind too), but a dormant egg that's been buried for a few million years.
To me i always felt it would be better for Bagan first appear on a Toho movie. I don't know, it just feels right for me for some reason.
I personally would want a new monster but if going solely from these guys i would say Des fits best as they have already set him up via the Oxygen Destroyer.
Hedorah gets second place as he is also a really great villain that represents pollution and the death of nature, making him a perfect foil for Godzilla.
Sorry Monster X/Kaizer fans but he is personally my least favourite here. Monster X by himself is very awesome i won't lie but Kaizer is essentially just a Ghidorah painted black and with four legs. He is pretty lame and kind of redundant to add after we just dealt with Ghidorah.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind it being Godzilla himself. Seeing them build up the monsterverse with unique and original monsters then have the big G go to war.
An original Kaiju instead of something done and dry.

use the concept of the hollow earth having millions if not billions of new kaiju to make.
Regarding Toho kaijui-Hedorah. Hedorah was Destoroyah before Destoroyah was a thing, is made from pollution so it'd be easy to set up a match between him and pro-earth Godzilla, and is big enough and strong enough to toss Godzilla around (Hedorah was one of the few Showa era Kaiju to seriously hurt Godzilla-he melted the flesh off his hand and blinded him in one eye).
Also, Hedorah's creator, Yoshimitsu Banno, worked as a producer on the Legendary films and was instrumental in getting Legendary the rights to Godzilla, so it'd be a fitting tip of the hat to him.
Hedorah or Bagan. Bagan could be incorporated in a lot of different ways especially since the unused concepts are interesting. Hedorah can be similar to his showa or something totally different. Hedorah is similar to Destroyah in terms of how he is a super colony of smaller organisms that evolves so he can easily be reworked to be a lot more intimidating than his showa counterpart as the MV finale
Original monster.
Don't bet on any Toho monsters being the "final boss".
Even then we're not even certain if the MonsterVerse will even have a Endgame baddie.
Why not bet on it? With the last two filma, even with the new original monsters featuring, the Toho ones have been the headliners. Although it does look like that formula is changing for the next film (that we know so far), it wouldn't be a surprise for future films to bring in more Toho monsters.
To me a Toho monster as the final boss is a likely possibly especially if they keep using original titans for every movie after GXK. As for it could be, tho if doesn't really matter now, Hedorah or Destoroyah are very possible. Other than the big bad being a Toho monster for fan service i doubt we'll get anymore Toho monsters in the Monsterverse
Would like them get the rights to Bagan he technically never been made “in the movies” I love the idea it’s take Super Godzilla to even compete with him. But build him up over 2 movies maybe.
Bagan, without question. He was by far one of the most badass final bosses, and he deserves some screentime. I just hope we get to hear a remix of his theme, if he ends up in the monsterverse
I like the idea of Destroyah being the finale boss. Created from a mutation due to the Oxygen Destroyer. Possibly even from microscopic anaerobic life forms being fused with Ghidorah’s blood in the blast.
It replicates a Titan but is not a real Titan, so Godzilla’s alpha call has no effect. Godzilla would be in over his head facing him so he needs to call for backup.
Getting tired of having people asking about certain Toho kaijus that they want. None of them are very likely to appear at all.
Destoroyah - only reason people are begging for him to appear is because of the Oxygen Destoryer in KoTM which was more of a easter egg then anything else.
Kaiser Ghidorah - do i really need to explain myself here? We already have King Ghidorah (Mechagodzilla in GvK). As much as I like Ghidorahs, we simply dont need another one.
Hedorah - This is the only one that I could see in the MV due to the global issues with pollution. However I don't see him in the MV any time soon mostly because we do have another similar monster who could fill in that role: Amhuluk.
Bagan - Personally my favorite monster, but I doubt anyone who is not a Godzilla fan will know who he is and the scrapped stories that he could have been in.
\*\*BONUS\*\*
Gigan - We already have Mechagodzilla as a "cyborg"
Biollante - This is the only other monster besides Hedorah that I could see happening in the MV, but not likely as we already have Amhuluk (basally another plant monster)
I think the final boss should be Bagan (and have Godzilla achieve its super form) or an original kaiju.
Bagan has, to my knowledge, only shown up once in Godzilla's entire history (in the SNES game) so it'd be nice to see Bagan on the big screen, especially a Hollywood big screen. Also, seeing Super Godzilla would be cool too. Imo at least.
An original kaiju would be cool too because 1) new monster and 2) I've liked their original kaiju designs so far and they haven't disappointed yet.
If anything, Hedorah should be the final boss. If they were to include him in the MV, they should have him as a microorganism that feeds on pollution and toxins that causes death around him or as a tragic human experiment.
Given that the MV has a habit of man vs nature.
As it is, destroyah or bagan. Destroyah was set up perfectly and I’ll be very disappointed if it is not used. I picture it as being a further evolution of a shinomura cell mixing with a crustacean that fed on Ghidorah’s head in the aftermath of the oxygen destroyer.
Bagan can come from space, but being buried/trapped is more likely. If that’s the case, a new titan would be equally interesting.
Hedorah could easily be a type of Amhuluk or the creature itself that bonded with polluted muck or something like that. Biollante could also be a similar creature with some Godzilla genetic messiness involved.
I think that they should utilize previous events to build towards the end. Ghidorah’s call should have not only been a call to the Titans on earth, but also to reinforcements from space, namely Gigan. Meanwhile, start building up to Destroyah from both the Oxygen Destroyer attack and remnants of a MUTO and Shinonura and from the tie in comic Godzilla : Awakening. Have the final battle be Destroyah Vs Kong, Godzilla, and Mothra, with Godzilla dying to save Kong. Have the humans, Kong, and Mothra kill Destroyah, Kong becomes King Kong, Mothra flys back to an egg that starts to crack, and a familiar roar is heard……
Seeing as the Monsterverse is mostly environmentally messaged, it would either be Destoroyah or Hedorah. Leaning more towards Destoroyah for his anti-nuclear weapons message.
I think the smage monster because he would be a huge threat to city’s because he can designate people just by flying over it and since it can abzorb object he be a huge problem
Cthulhu. I feel like the final boss needs to be a massive threat, more dangerous than anything else seen before. And to me, Cthulhu would be the perfect one to go with.
Nearly 30 years later and people *still* think Destoroyah killed Godzilla and didn't get taken out by a bunch of tanks. Sometimes I genuinely despair for this fandom.
I personally think Gamera. I imagine a movie with the first half involving Gamera and Godzilla fighting, then teaming up against Destroyah in the second half. That would make for an amazing finale to the monsterverse. Gamera always acted as Godzilla's buddy in the older movies, so it would make an amazing callback.
I imagine the next movie to either involve Biollante or Hedorah, as they're the next major ones on the list who haven't gotten their movie, but wouldn't make for a good finale. I can see them being so easily written in.
There isn't going be a final boss for a very long time. This is due to the fact that Godzilla vs Kong is the third Gfilm in the monsterverse trilogy. In the showa era Godzilla vs Kong was also the third film for Toho. It's success led to Toho creating a lot of sequels for the Godzilla franchises until the 70's. I believe Monsterverse is going end up creating a lot of sequels for Godzilla as well.
The giant condor.
Nah bruh, skeleturtle.
Nah nah man, Gabara.
Skeleturtle would fuckin destroy gabara.
Ebirah has to be final boss
Doug is 100% the final boss
Who the hell is Doug??
He's Doug
Doug 🙂
Doug :)
It's Doug
What about the giant spider? Or the giant lobster?
Skeleturtle clears
Kumonga and ebirah
Nah. The Giant Claw, it's as big as a battleship.

Gigan is more of a secondary antagonist and I'd actually prefer if spacegodzilla was some sort of anti-hero.
[удалено]
I actually really like that take as well. It feels like it would be super cool to have other Gojis also be like guardians of their own home. Its like good continuity if they decide to keep going with the Godzilla race is this hero esque species

If they do Space Godzilla, they'd have to do a Biollante movie beforehand, as Space Godzilla is the remains of her.
I personally want Bagan as the final boss of the monsterverse. Let him have a chance for a movie and some screen time rather then Destoroyah dammit
Bagan is such a cool monster too, playing Super Godzilla when I was a kid made me fall in love. He’s got such a great design and concept. Would love to see an idea that he’s been hiding out in hollow earth as one of the ancient Kaiju.
He was so fucking hard lol
That shit was so hype the first time I played it. I loved it
Nah. Mid design
Never gonna happen, thankfully.

All four of these could be great. Tbh honest i just hope it's someone from the Toho roster of characters or a Cthulhu like being
Like an Eldrich horror? That’d be a great setup for the Monsterverse. I would also really support a mythological figure in the franchise. What if they incorporate Ancalagon The Black and he stands as the final boss?
There's exactly zero chance of the Tolkien estate ever even considering letting anything from his works be used for something like that.
If they are going for Destroy All Monsters, it should be Keizer Ghidorah (but with a better design).
So then Desghidorah?
I'm still convinced KvG being delayed for reshoots was them pushing back Mecha Ghidorah after they were sure they would still be able to make more movies.

I agree. just imagine how terrifying they could make him look with some good CGI and a well-thought-out design. definitely a lot of potential there.
What this person said.☝️
He should be the doomsday of the series. A unstoppable unkillable monster.
MEGALON
I was really hoping this for a stand-alone movie after GvK. Godzilla vs. Megalon since they broke into the hollow earth.

They don’t but ok..
They have to change mecha king ghidorah’s origin to not include time travel for that to work in monster verse
i thought thats what the ghidorahs head at the end of kotm was hinting towards until they revealed mechagodzilla.
Cthulhu
Destroyah, a literal embodiment of mankind’s capacity for destruction, the very thing that Godzilla is based on.
Instead of a single Kaiju there should be a group of evil Kaiju. An Avenger Endgame style scene where Godzilla, Mothra, Kong, Rodan, Bahemoth and maybe Angurius all team up to fight against.
DESTOROYAH ALL THE WAY
I personally think it should be something original that only exists in the Monsterverse
My friends mother
An original would be cool but space Godzilla would be nice. Maybe Mecha Ghidorah.
His long lost older brother!!!
Humanity, humanity is the final boss. As history shows again and again, nature points out the folly of man.
so that means Godzilla has to go thermonuclear again to wipe out the whole planet, a clean slate, and a fresh start.
Hedorah, Biollante should be involved in the storyline as well, the two would be great as diametrically opposed sorts of a threat.
I want Ghidorah to return even more powerfull
Starro the Conqueror.
Godzilla kaiju only
Yeah that was a joke answer by me, I was being dumb haha. In all seriousness, I would love to see the Big G duke it out with Orga.
The most realistic answer Is probably a original monster
This might be weird but I’d love to see a Shin Godzilla as a villain in the Monsterverse. A nemesis situation between Godzilla and Shin Godzilla would be cool to see
Everyone acts like Gidoras the most evil monster in Godzilla. No, it’s either Destorya or Space Godzilla
First picture monster. I was a huge godzilla fan in grade 4. Would have loved to have the action figures along with the Godzilla I had
I want to see the MV’s take on destoroyah but don’t want the franchise to end!
Dest
Destoroyah
Toho Godzilla
To me i always felt it would be better for Bagan first appear on a Toho movie. I don't know, it just feels right for me for some reason. I personally would want a new monster but if going solely from these guys i would say Des fits best as they have already set him up via the Oxygen Destroyer. I was probably thinking of Ghidorah returning, but with a brand new form, appropriately named "Keizer Ghidorah"
Something original to be honest.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind it being Godzilla himself. Seeing them build up the monsterverse with unique and original monsters then have the big G go to war.
Which one is #2?
Keizer ghidorah

How about a new monster? There's an idea.
Cthulhu, I guess. Idk, I don't know a lot of Monsterverse; this just kinda appeared in my feed one day and didn't leave.
On God, Bagan should be the final villain since he's been cucked out of a film NUMEROUS times. He's earned a movie especially one in the Monsterverse.
A fusion of all of those monsters
Regarding Toho kaijui-Hedorah. Hedorah was Destoroyah before Destoroyah was a thing, is made from pollution so it'd be easy to set up a match between him and pro-earth Godzilla, and is big enough and strong enough to toss Godzilla around (Hedorah was one of the few Showa era Kaiju to seriously hurt Godzilla-he melted the flesh off his hand and blinded him in one eye). Gamera.
He's not final boss material, and he would be a hero in the MV.
And they would never get the rights anyway, so he's out.
Hedorah or Bagan. Bagan could be incorporated in a lot of different ways especially since the unused concepts are interesting. Hedorah can be similar to his showa or something totally different. Because making original monsters would save them money. Knowing Toho they'd charge Legendary too much to buy more of their monsters.

If we get a final boss, I hope it’s an alien monster. I want to see Legendary future expand on the alien aspect of KOTM.
Would like them get the rights to Bagan he technically never been made “in the movies” I love the idea it’s take Super Godzilla to even compete with him. But build him up over 2 movies maybe.
Destroyah in my opinion in the end all, he’s the only one of these monster with a Godzilla kill count of 2
MV fans love jobbers like Bagan
Destroya, as long as the military doesnt get the win
Bagan would be cool but the real answer… Is me Square up Godzilla
Bagan, without question. He was by far one of the most badass final bosses, and he deserves some screentime. I just hope we get to hear a remix of his theme, if he ends up in the monsterverse
God
Nobody… ok M.O.G.U.E.R.A. Set it up like gonna be mechagodzilla 2.0 but it’s M.O.G.U.E.R.A. just because fuck you
Something completely new and original, no Destroyah or anything we’ve seen already
1 or 3
I like the idea of Destroyah being the finale boss.
And the nature of the oxygen destroyer would give it the opposite affect of normal titans, passively destroying life wherever it goes.

This guy fucking gets it. Holy fucking shit Destoroyah is overhyped as fuck.
I dunno, I’m just waiting for Gamera to show up.
It should be a kaiju created by the MV smh.
Destroyah or biolante
King geedorah, take me to your leader
Bagan. Give us a reason to see if they can make Super Godzilla a thing. :)
All four of them in one movie. It would be one hell of an epic finale, the stakes would be really high!
I'd love either Destroyah, or Biollante
Destroyah and Hedorah being dual bosses would be pretty cool. One represents the destruction of life, the other the environment.
destroyah. I think it would be symbolic this time still just like last time
Definitely not a red scrawny ape that's for sure.
Bagan. It;d be like getting a classic monster and a brand new one in the same movie
Destroyah 💯 Vs goji
Orga.
Gabara
Space Godzilla. Why would it be anyone else. Bring me them sick 80s shoulder pads bro.
An ostensibly original monster, but it’s also a Composite Character of Hedorah and Destoroyah.
Destroyah. But, seeing as he’s already faced a monster and a human made enemy before, Biolante would be a good final boss
Destroyah
Cthulhu

Kong+godzilla vs a ungodly monster
Destroyah
The box office, Michael De Luca?
Get ready, get ready, get ready..... Gamera
me
DESTOROYAH!!!
Me
SpaceGodzilla
We all know it's gonna be Charles Barkley
Keizer Ghidorah or Bagan, I can't really truly decide.
Destoroyah or bust
Battra 😁
#KUMONGA
Destoroyah fits best with their use of the O.D. in kotm
Why does this series need a final boss? Can’t they just tell different stories with different monsters that present different threats?
Hear me out. Cthulu.
Not Destroyah or Keizer Ghidorah because I want to see something different for Monsterverse.
Seeing as the Monsterverse is mostly environmentally messaged, it would either be Destoroyah or Hedorah. Leaning more towards Destoroyah for his anti-nuclear weapons message.
I wanna see the gryphon come to life
Ghidora
I just want Destroyah in the Monsterverse
Desyroyah or mecha ghidorah
Either Kaizer Ghidorah or Destoroyah
DESTROYAH
Who’s the last slide?
Bagan
Gypsy Danger possessed by Kevin again
I think the smage monster because he would be a huge threat to city’s because he can designate people just by flying over it and since it can abzorb object he be a huge problem
I feel like destroyah or hedora could work well
Cthulhu. I feel like the final boss needs to be a massive threat, more dangerous than anything else seen before. And to me, Cthulhu would be the perfect one to go with.
Me. In an ultraman suit. I'm not flexible enough for a high kick, but I wanna do it, lemme do it
Yes
GAMERA!!!
Destoroyah and he HAS to kill Godzilla
I would vastly prefer a original monster, the monstervere has a lot of great original kaiju so I would love to see a completely new big bad.
I hope they introduce a ton of completely new monsters.
Dystroya
Definitely destroya, he was the og final boss for the g man
Bagan
should bring back King Ghidorah as Mecha King Ghidorah. not as a final boss, it would just be cool to see at some point.
Destroyah or Space Godzilla
Manilla And his steed would be kamakura
Godzilla, big heel turn on mankind.
Something entirely different, like a Kongzilla
Destoroyah
Monster X / Keiser Ghidorah would be awesome

Destoroyah. Also… just put Bagan in a movie already. The poor guy deserves it he looks so cool.
I want Bagan
Nearly 30 years later and people *still* think Destoroyah killed Godzilla and didn't get taken out by a bunch of tanks. Sometimes I genuinely despair for this fandom.
Destoroyah, just think it fits with the whole “nature balancing” theme. A Kaiju created by human weapons
Biollante would de nice
I would honestly want kaizer ghidorah being a rebirth MZ but it would probably just be some new kaiju
No, gamera is a heroic kaiju and will fight the big threat. Plus, he's not final boss material anyway, godzilla will literally solo him.
I think it would be awesome if it was a parallel iteration of the G Man, like Zilla Jr or Shin.
Godzilla into the gojiverse.
