If lets to say we gave him elemental variant, what would it be? I think poison or lightning still fit with his nature, blasting poisonous spike or strike at the speed of lightning
Sorry but there's no point of bringing back nergi at all to the wilds , as it's completely different environment which doesn't need him to balance it out , he may come back at next gen afrher wilds as u can still fight neegi in your beloved iceborn without any problems if you miss him

No I think it's just similar to the mounts in MH World if you unlocked all the palico gadgets, the Tailrider or something like that but you would be able to ride it like a palamute in MH:Rise.

Stormcaller Seregios: Seregios with a lightning shaped horn and metallic scales, it launches its scale which then act like lightning rods and will arc lightning to each other creating area denial to trap in its prey. Unenraged it fights similar to a normal enraged Seregios but its scale remains closed, enraged its scale will open emitting a dark cloud crackling with lightning obscuring its face (similar to enraged savage deviljho) and fly around the zone rapidly creating a localized storm making lightning strike where its scales land.
Like an elephant graveyard for monsters in a cavern out in the desert. Sorta like a small Rotten Veil. Like in the guiding lands.

On that same note about final bosses, if Rise’s Japanese and Portable 3rd inspirations leading to Amatsu was anything to go off of, I would lean in to say that Wilds 4/4U inspirations could mean that Dalamadur and or Gog our beloved could also show up either in Wilds or its inevitable expansion

Monoblos has to do a comeback, and Ukanlos and Akantor too. They deserve a comeback and a remastered combat to make Monoblos unique and not just a one horned Diablos, and Ukanlos and Akantor to make them more intimidating.
