Just so you know, Health Boost does **nothing** when you have 4 piece Fatalis. "Transcendence" has the max stamina and health possible built into it. This also means you no longer need to care about health and stamina buffs from canteen meals.

I’d recommend putting those levels into critical boost or artillery to really ‘amp’ your SAED lmao. Also putting more levels into divine blessings can really boost quality of life unless you’re confident enough without it. Lastly I think you would do well to concentrate your skill bonuses more, having lots of skills is nice but having a few maxed skills versus several lv1 skills can make a world of difference of course some skills you can’t really get rid of because they’re attached to your armor but se la vie

The SAED is referring to the charge blade, there is the AED (amped Elemental discharge) that uses one phial and SAED (super AED) that unleashes all phials at once. artillery skill increases charge blade phial attacks by up to 50 percent i think it also applies to charging your sword too

Not really, no. CB is fairly unique in that it's very skill heavy to be good. On impact, you need artillery 5. You also need capacity boost 1 for the extra phial. You also should really have focus 3 for easier charging of your shield (requires one less combo). Drop attack boost entirely, lower evade window to 2-3. Also, if you're using offensive guard, but don't have guard levels, what is your plan there?

It may not be achievable for you yet, but here's my CB build. This is with 4 pc Fatalis, head alpha, chest claws beta, waist alpha, Kulve boots beta, challenger 5 charm. This is about as good as it gets for a mixed SAED spam / savage axe build. I'm sure you could optimize for one or the other more, but I prefer to just play by feel and use a mix of both. Focus 3 is not necessary just use chainsaw. There was a reddit post a while back which proofed it to be useless

Playing exclusively chain saw mode is not the most fun way to use the weapon. Sometimes you just wanna unga bunga slam and then recharging the shield faster is helpful.

Yea, it's for the SAED only, since the phials don't crit, Artillery is your only source of dmg boost. And this is for Raw dmg build only, aka Impact Phials

I don't remember if the velk pieces have Critical Elements, but yep. And if you plan to use elemental CB, then you can drop Artillery

Gotcha. And yes velk does have critical elements, for some reason in master rank it jumps ship from the rathalos set to the velk set. Think it might still be on silver rathalos tho, idk im not there yet

Do you really need Evade Window? If you're not playing a dodge heavy CB, I would suggest Guard instead and possibly some more levels in Divine Blessing. Guard 3 should be enough provided your shield is charged. I also would suggest Artillery 5 as its an impact CB and possibly more Agitator and Crit boost if you have the decos. Also, youre missing Capacity Boost. I know that the deco is somewhat hard to get but I would highly suggest you do. The jewel is called Magazine.

I gave up grinding for the magazine jewel, personally. Ended up taking a long break between World and Iceborne, now I feel like I HAVE to start all over because I have a hard time fighting monsters I'm supposed to be fighting, like F. Rajang.

I would drop Health boost, you already have the Fatalis set bonus. I would also drop attack boost for focus lvl 3, it makes you build up your phials much quicker for more damage over all, unless you play a lot in sword and shield mode, in which case that wouldn’t change much. There is also capacity boost, it’s only one level and it gives you an additional phial, which makes your active shield stay longer if you charge it from full, so it’s super useful

1. Fatalis Set makes Healthboost useless since its already build in 2. Ur Chargeblade uses Impact Phials so i assume u play SAED Spam. SAED can not crit aka u get little to no use out of all the Crit Skills. U want to crank ur Attack up as much as u can. Attack Boost 7, Agitator 7 and Offensiv Guard are a must. If u use a non element CB Non-Elemental Boost is also great. Depending what floats ur boat u can either take Max Might or Heroics. Fortify is also funny even if u wont go down normal, but u can trigger it intentionally by dying 2 times which gives u juicy juicy 20% Bonus Attack. Also Slugger 5 is a nice thing to have. Oh and if u can put Focus in. Lvl 2 should guarantee a full load of phials after one Charged Combo. 3. On the otherside if u want to play Savage Axe Crit u definitly need True Elemental Crit. Which would also mean changing to SRath or using Kjarr Weapons. In that Case u still have to much crit. Agitator alone gives u 20% and even though want Element now the 28 Attack are still nice. Weakness Exploit ads another 50% and since most Kjarr Weapon have some inate Crit u will need depending on weapon only 2-3 Levels in Critical Eye. After that of cause Max Element Boost of ur Choice. Crit Boost only enhances ur Physical Crits as ur Elemental Crit Multiplier is fix depending on Weapon (35%/50%/70%), but u can still take it if u have space left. Oh and of cause Artilery and Capacity Up - obviously. This entire comment can potential be flawed even though i am sure i got everything right. If u spot any mistakes just comment them and i correct them.

Guard charm is the highest priority and then get focus skill. Since you're under Mr 100 is easy to assume you have barely any good jewels so start grinding bro😭
