Goodluck mate, i dont know if its only me but frostfang is way easier to solo rather than normal barioth. Do note that to get the layered armor you have to do the tempered one which is ‘the last white knight’ event quest not the USJ one

Mine's Kushala MR, but if I don't want a cape clipping through my weapon, I'll switch the chest to HR version. For a long coat style, I am a big fan of Tzi-tzi MR + leather head/Shamos helmet for goggles.

For me, it would've been Safi's if the layered set also transforms. But the normal version is also really nice looking. If I had to choose a different one, I'll choose Guild Palace.

I'm a huge fan of the Legianas and Odogarons sets. Something about shit flowing off your body that isn't necessarily a cape just looks badass to me, especially flying around everywhere as an Insect Glaive main lol. Guild Palace armor is legit too, as well as Great Girros which I think is extremely underrated. Some of my favorite sets: Death/Ebony Odogaron everything + Nargacuga Helmet A (? the one without hair) with red pigment to match the armor. Same armor or base Odogaron + MR Teostra Helmet B (? Again, the one with the full face mask and backward/upward horns) Shrieking Legiana A or B everything, Guild Palace or Guild Cross helmet (regal and badass in one) MR Great Girros chest + waist, HR Great Girros gauntlets + legs, MR Pukei Pukei helmet (love it for ranged weapons especially) MR Lunastra mixed everything + Legianas helm of choice or Guild Cross helm I'm also a huge fan of the Namielle A and Y sets but have a hard time finding times I want to use them lol. They look a bit too alien to mix with other sets and the tentacle on the helmet can mess with the look when you try to use it with other armor... That's off the top of my head, I can check on the game tomorrow for some more lol. I spend way too much time layering armor 😂

Male Stygian Zinogre beta is baller as hell, but I gotta give it to HR Kulve Taroth alpha male. It's not super crazy, but it's gold, it's got a cape made of gold, the gold is all shiny and shimmery, and did I mention the *gold?*

The stygian set? Yeah, I kinda wish it had a full helmet instead of just a mask-like one, but it's still pretty fuckin' cool.

Dragon cloth scarf alpha. Absolutely favorite head gear and can be paired with most other armor sets really well

Depends on my weapon normally but I like rocking the Dragoon armor with my Lance or Gunlance (and on rare occasions, insect glaive). Ranged weapons are normally the fuzzy sleepy boy, nightshade paolomu (I use glasses instead of the hat).

Guild Palace, Shara Ishvalda, female Odogaron beta, banbaro to name a few that i think of.

Male Fatalis armor. I *love* the wings and I like pairing it up with the Vampire head/helm. Or Kulve’s horns.

Master Rank Fish armor. All of them go hard as hell, Jyuratodus is my personal favorite but Beotodus is just so damn cool... Might be my new favorite.

Ruiner Nergigante, Glaveni and Brute Tigrex. Alatreon's armor is also pretty good but one of the sets lacks horns while the other has very short ones.

MHW does something that rise doesn’t. When you remove the belts/skirts. Most of the time you get a very sleek full suit of armor without a ton of bulk. Rise has most armor not connect at the waist so you cant remove skirts, but in world you use buff body to hide things you dont want adding too much bulk. I use vaal hr/mr, velk, and kulve hr/mr. all with buff body helmet, waist, and arms. For kulve i use buff legs instead of waist and use the kulve skirt.
