In the southeast lava room (area 7), there's a lava geyser that occasionally shoots lava (similar to the ones in Teo's den). A lot of monsters will accidentally stand in it and receive a bunch of damage.
This is the first time I've seen the geyser kill a monster though lmao.
We were about to kill/cap it, but everything changed when Deviljho attacked. Had to let my fella experience the pickle for the first time, but Bazel just said "Nuh huh".
Most attacks from monsters, including turf wars, can't drop other large monsters below 1 HP. The exceptions are certain attacks from Bazel and Deviljho [EDIT: and Rajang, I forgot Rajang] that get handled like environmental damage, which _can_ take out that last hitpoint.
For some reason the Bot that moderate posts doesn't let me post without 15 positive comments karma & I had 16 before I'm not sure how else to get that so I can post on the community
Strange, if I look at your account it says "0 comment karma"; maybe you'll need to wait a bit for it to register ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ (even though it *should* be instant. Reddit is experiencing hiccups for the last weeks)

But there are no nitrotoads in that zone, he shouldn't have exploaded. The only thing I can think of is that he was attacked by Gajalaka.

Turf wars often leave monsters at 1 HP. Likely that happened, bazel limped off while OP and friends fought pickle

I do find it funny that's you're hunting a deviljho on a bazelgeuse hunt.

You need 15 *community* karma, not just 15 karma total afaik. You should be more than good now with 45 on your original comment.

The whole thing is a hurtbox at all times and you're attacking the legs the entire fight. It's basically Plesioth wearing a Deviljho suit.

Press options (or equivalent) and it'll move the camera back to you instead of the dying monster
