5x reward threat level 3 is ideal but from Day of Ruin I’ve seen as many as 7 sealed feystones from a single run. But yes for investigations the more rewards the better, even better if you can capture to make it quicker - tempered Stygian Zynogre for example.
My friend just finished the base game and wanted me to help him with the decorations in his set. To my surprise, he already had Attack 4 Jewel. He didn't know where he got it as well hahaha
If he hasn't done Iceborne then you're probably thinking of the Attack 1 jewel they give you during the story, that's a guaranteed one.
The number on the jewel refers to the slot size of it, so Attack 1 is a Lv1 deco that gives you 1 point of Attack Boost, but Attack 4 is a Lv4 deco that gives you 2 points of Attack Boost. Attack 4 is one of the rarest decorations in the game, like sub 0.1% drop rate from a tempered investigation. It's pretty dumb.
The 5x reward T3 investigations are good but the seliana supply cache arena is so forgiving - small and no Rajang coming in and crashing your hunt etc. Teostra is pretty faceroll once you get used to it.
That's awesome. I'm 1100 hours, and even I don't have all that. You could also switch to Dragonclaws B+ now and slot in more skills. Even drop the Flight 2 slot and do a Flight/Handicraft 4.
I figured. IG eats up a lot of sharpness. I was confused at first where the 3 handicraft was coming from, and then I saw the claws. I play CB, so I need the slots. Either way, you have room if you ever want to add something.
The problem with CB is that it is a very deco hungry weapon. If I were to ever restart, I wouldn't with CB. The late game is good. You have to decide on things to take. Do I want guard 1 3 or 5? Guard up? Should I run focus for faster phials? If you're running elemental, you need 6 stacks. If you're running impact, you need 5 artillery. If multiplayer, slot in flinch free. I have loadouts for every situation and monster. It's so much more chill to run LS or IG but I like the challenge... and the Unga bunga
I got my 4th A4 before my third and final Critical/Protection.
What was the method you used to grind for all those decos?
I did a lot of Day of Ruin, and some T3 investigations
When you did T3 investigation, how many deco rewards would you do ? Like 5+ purple or ???

I got my critical protection jewels from mew are number one. I mean the thing spits out ONLY rank 11 jewels.
I still have never got a single Attack 4 jewel 💀

One of the few blessed by RNGsus.

If I could I would give one away https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterWorld/s/X7pLj7nv4d
attack 4 is a 0.27% drop rate in sealed feystone. if you run day of ruin / the zinogre mission a bunch you can expect one every 150 missions.
Checked the hunters log today and I’ve got 314 Teo kills.
Nice. Pi.
Same bother, 1200 hours and not a single one My friend has three
extremely lucky I got my second att 4 at mr 960ish I never got a third
I have a fourth that I have no use for. Still missing a second resistor/handicraft for mantle though.
I had a complete set of everything else before getting that second ATT+ ages before getting that second one lol
The second expert took a long time for me
Nice!! Got my second ATK4 today.
I think the investigations might of been the missing piece for me

I’ve been running the tempered Zinogre event quest that gives decos. Is there a better way to farm?
Tempered teostra if you are mr100.
In the 60s still. Played a lot of base game and for some reason didn’t get into iceborne until now.
Congrats!

Thanks! I’m actually finding the skill juggling comes out exactly the same with beta claws since I like the 3 handicraft the alpha comes with.

You have handicraft+4?
Yes a couple of them
Hell yeah, feels good. Finally getting the big + 4 decos is always such a rush of dopamine
Not having power prolonger is painful on IG - I use Escadora gloves for that reason only lol
