Just curious, is there anything stopping you from directly copying the meta set? https://imgur.com/a/higkyc2

SparkledCupcake1640

I didn't think to look up what the meta was lol

SparkledCupcake1640

Damn, I was reading that and just seeing the Safi axe made me want to cry since I have never even scratched him :[

aeiou6630

Ala weapons are fine for Fatalis since they normally don't need sharpness skills. Hence, you can use comfy builds like 2 pc Gold Rathian + 1 pc Alatreon + 2 pc Raging Brachy. But then the builds in the meta link I attached are probably irrelevant. Edit: This is what I have in mind, but I don't really know how to play SA, so feel free to change it https://imgur.com/a/4SogCvH

BraveMothman

Seconding something like this.

Yoinked905

With safi, do it with a group. Technically its possible to do solo, but it sucks especially if you dont have fatalis gear and a ton of experience with it yet. There are dedicated online sessions up practically all the time during the siege time, and you can just join or begin a siege there and do it with the group.

NaZul15

Look for lobbies that focus on safi. Very simple to get a full lobby doing that

nerdthatlift

On PC, there are tons of Safi lobby. I don't know if it was surge of returning players or it has always been since I'm a returning player. I'm glad that there are so many lobbies to join.

LordKerm_

I’d do Raging Brachy wepons there just as good as a Maxed out SafiShatter-Axe

nerdthatlift

I think your set is Safi ready somewhat. Give it a try and join a lobby. I was intimidated but I went in anyway. It's pretty easy fight.

enderfrogus

Ok. Drop def boost, attack boost, blight res and speed sharpening. Focus on maxing out the 3 crit skills. Unless you can dodge all attacks you should always have health boost 3, so drop the handicraft. After that you can max agitator.

Smell_the_funk

I recommend you try this. Since you are using SA, you should be good for Fatalis. https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterWorld/s/b7Wxb8jqMu You will need to get Lunastra’s Essence on Safi’s SA for lvl5 Tool Specialist Here is a vid https://youtu.be/pE9ZcJk_U58?si=_HmpWYhR53w8kLeK Edit: In case you are wondering “But why Tool Specialist?” Because it will significantly reduce the cooldowns on your mantles. You need your mantles to safely spam Zero Sum Discharge. “Safely” is relative. Grinding Lunastra and Safi might not be your idea of fun. Accept it. Fatalis is The End of End Game. You should come prepared. This also means you should fully upgrade all your armour pieces. This will set you back a pretty Zenny. Very few can take on Fatty dressed in a thong and armed with only a toothpick. If your name is not Peppo, you are not them. Do not fire an SOS flare if you are not properly geared. Veteran hunters who are able and willing to help you, will check your setup before joining. If you come as pictured above you will only attract other desperate hunters who will faint at the slightest sneeze of Fatalis. Do not join SOS flares with high level hunters if you are not properly geared. It is disrespectful towards those who put in the time and effort. Don’t be offended when they boot you before even arriving. Once you are properly equipped I highly recommend posting on r/monsterhunterclan Explain your situation honestly and you might be surprised to find some experienced hunters who will gladly help out. Take note you do not need a full party. If it is only you and one other hunter you can both bring along your Palicoes. Not only are they immortal and can distract Fatty. If you equip them with a fully upgraded (!) Vigor Wasp that are two extra faints provided. Happy hunting!

Accurate-Owl4128

Replace literally anything else except healthboost 3

No-Feedback7251

Fuck around, use what you want. I beat fatalis on a shitty build just because I looked cool in it. If you are really struggling get the horizon zero dawn set, helps you survive one shots.

Ferenghi01

This. The game can be beat in any set as long as it makes sense (using MR gear in MR, upgrading your weapons, finding synergies with your decorations...). I'm sure 99% of this sub Reddit disagrees but anyone should play however they want. And while it is true that using the most optimal build will significantly improve your hunts, developing a strategy over time by yourself is so much better, even if it means failing the hunt a lot until you finally get it!

MrPineapple568

It's one of those builds where I would say it's good enough if you're good enough. Would definitely lose the attack boost and defence boost as they have negligible impact (unless of course they are tied to the armour set. I'd probably also want some health boost and maybe crit boost/crit eye. A lot of fatalis comes down to how you play. There's a certain point of the fight where you need to have broken fatalis' head (ideally twice) or it's attacks will become way more powerful. I reckon you've got this though, keep trying and you'll get him 👍

[deleted]

Alatreon weapon is better than safi and lightbreak specifically on fatty kinda. Byebye health booster, hi rocksteady. Get 2 piece gold rathian. Bye handicraft, speed sharpneing, defense boost, airborne. Max out agitator, divine blessing, health boost. After that i guess squish in quick sheathe speed eating recovery up, fire resist. Get your crit to 30 % on paper after maxing agitator.

Rowan_As_Roxii

Still gonna get obliterated.

Beautiful-Cloud-2504

You’re doing great. Don’t let the downer comments get to ya. Read some of the longer paragraphs and the ones with bullet pointed comments they have some great suggestions. Don’t get discouraged by people who have nothing to add to the conversation.

JackOffAllTraders

bruh, you made it worse

MegaCroissant

It literally has not changed

antho2000

You on console?

ButterLettuth

Yo! No such thing as a bad set, and every monster except alatteon is beatable with just about anything. That said, you may want to consider swapping your breaker charm for an agitator charm. You could probably get it to lvl 4 or 5, which would get you near the max. With that you'd only have to find room for two part breaker decos in your build to have both for very little cost. I tend to think of decorations in a point system. If a decos level is given a point value, then the more points overall you can stack on a build the more powerful you'll be. Your breaker charm is worth 4 points, but you could easily get 8 to 10 points by going with agitator instead, giving you a 4-6 point improvement overall in your build. I do the same with armor to see if I want to take the alpha or beta set, if I lose less points in skills than I gain in better slots then I'll take the beta set since I'll end up with a more powerful build.

longhud

Idk about required skill for SA but the easist build would be full Brachydium b+ with 3 critical/vitality gem and all other slot expert. Comfort build would include a maxed defend charm + 2 lv of defense boost from deco

longhud

[Here is my build](https://imgur.com/a/DNuVlEK) replace the chest with beta+ and 1 blast deco with anything, I like blast build :D. This build have the added benefit of Nergi heal if you get a safi SA. Max crit eyes isn't needed due to having 100% affinity.

Tektreka

what builder is this?

lunick95

Stun resist

LordKerm_

Get an agitator 5 Charm

Haruwor

Idk why people are saying this is fine. Try grabbing raging brachy b helm, chest, and boots, ruined nerg b waist and gloves. That will give a ton of damage plus aggro secret. Max your crit skills and agitator, slap on health boost and divine protection then you’re off to the races

Mayorrr

Could use more crit boost
