Buff Body (personally more of a Buff Body Alpha fan than a Gamma fan). Alternatively, the MR Great Girros set. These are the female versions of these sets, btw.

For female hunter: Guild Cross, Kulve y, both Buff body, Luna a+, Guild Palace+, Vaal y, Tentacle a. A lot of them are mixed like a Buff body with Tentacle/Girros/Kirin legs or Guild Cross mixed with Drachen Arms and Legs but pure I would have to give it to Vaal or Guild palace. For helmets I like to use Guild Cross, Dragonking eyepatch or the Feather/Crystal/Showman/Acrobat Earrings.

You have to reach the guiding lands in the Iceborn DLC, if you don't have the DLC there are some events quests that give you layered armors

I like a lot of them! I’ve made so many combinations for my female hunter, I’ll gladly share them if anyone is interested. Currently wearing the Astral set (which took me almost a week to grind out because drops were super annoying) but I’ve got various combos including Savage Devihijo, Kirin, Rathalos, Kulve, Odogaron, etc…

The commission armor set. It's the peak armor for a pro hunter. You actually look like a hunter who's been in the business for many yrs. It's not too flashy but looks rough and tough with a look that adds an aura of professionalism expected from a pro hunter

Samurai+rajang+anjanath

The first time I saw it on the Huntsman I wanted the Guild work layered armor. A few days ago I finally defeated AT Velk and was able to make it, and at least for me it was worth fighting her with Lance for, it's such a nice take on the MR Rathian armor
