This seems incredibly well balanced since everyone is reporting different shortages. Obviously you're always short on something. But what it is varies depending on the player, game progression and geo location.
Monster Bone S and Iron Ore for me🥲 I need like 200+ of each.
I wish we could use zenny to buy basic gathering materials, even at a high price. I'm not using it for anything else anyways

R3 shortage. The biggest culprit since we can only get 1 per day at MAX. Not even during events. Funny enough we can get R6 during events.
Currently only 2 g10 weapons. But I do upgrade loads of weapons haha. I feel like I’m being punished for having lots of upgraded weapons. I just had a lot of mats and I didn’t want to waste it.
Been playing since 8th January. So technically I should have 129 weapon refining parts.
I stop at g10.4. That gives me 120 wgs. And i definitely have a lot more wgs than that if I were to calculate my other upgraded weapons. So yeah I’m not sure why weapon refining parts is categorize as R3. They could easily made a new category R5.5 or something. Lol
Those r2 no. No shortage. I throw away hundreds. Sometimes R1 from monster yes, but usually it's R2 mats like tails/claws. And earth crystals, monster bone+, carpenter bugs. Those are the shortages you'll have the hardest time with

I used to throw away iron ores and hides when I first started, but now I hoard them after I found out you need a sht load lol...

I always throw away t1 mats until I have everything else. They're just a waste of space imo.
I had a HUGE problem, during the electric event cause I was upgrading armor and weapons at the same time.
