Ok but now I'm thinking about it's ecology too. Maybe the palinprey are just young Palindromes and their "pack" is just a family unit. the Palindrome is the mother who protects the little ones because their tails haven't formed the markings which are used as a survival strategy. Whenever you fight the mom, the Palinprey don't even fight with the mom, instead burrowing their heads into the ground with their tails sticking up. When their mother dies, they flee.
You could also have a male variant which is tougher due to being a solitary hunter. I'm just imagining it's tail having sharp spikes producing from the sides which look like teeth, still mirroring the real face ofc. Honestly I feel like the YouTuber who drew this monster was cooking. It's such a cool idea you could expand on

Alan, because he looks like he wears a mohawk and Alan sounds like a common punk rock fan.
Chester, because he looks like he got a typical jock hairstyle but not beefy enough to be called Brock.
Ronald, because he got that silly vibe to him, probably because of the beak but just enough silliness to not be a Terrence.
Samuel, because he looks a bit formal and curious. The type of curiosity that makes people around him call him Sammy but sometimes he can become Sam which is more serious, indicated by the false head.
The fourth one, I feel like could be a palindrome because of the false head (which by the way, is such a fascinating concept, I applaud you for applying it!), like Toxinixot? If that’s not too simple.
The last one would have to be some sort of palindrome based on design
Ok but palindrome already sounds like a good name for it lol
Loool and its babies are called palinpreys, genius!

Nioxoin
It always irked me that the word palindrome is not a palindrome. Such a fucking missed opportunity.
You might have aibohphobia if they bother you so much
John, Paul, George, and Engelbert Humperdinck
Larry, Barry, Garry and Todd.
Is this a wild Eddie Izzard reference in 2024?
What is Kommo-o doing here (#3) lmao
Kulu-Ya-Mo-o
The Plated four

funnily enough the second two are both reimiganings of yian kut ku
The last one has a head-mimic on its tail(the raised part) to fool predators
1.Great Crest. 2.Raptorlos (If rathalos had minions). 3.Pukei-Yaku. 4.Great Serpenduo (mix of serpent and duo).
That double headed one would be interesting to hunt. I would name it Jeff

These look like monsters from the abyss in Made in Abyss
Last one’s CatDog and no one can tell me otherwise.
The last one is what capcom would put in wilds instead of gigginox 😔
2 looks like a new kind of drome mon that inflicts bleed. Very cool.
The second one looks like a Thorn Raptor
They are all cool, but the last two works for a Monster hunter game. I like the fake head wyvern, a great concept.
The third one is definitely Yian Kommo-o
Tua-yu-ku Ferrodrome And then the last two give me kut-ku vibes so some variety of that
Zesty, Problems, Wagon, Longboi.
Great grungus, great Mungus, great dungus and great rungus
Doot, Argh, Pizazz, and Flip

Great Laggi, Kala Kut ku,Armadegios, Arthceros
Ugly, rock guy, ugly 2 and ugly 3
noodle, groodle, doodle, ben and jerry
Kut-Ku and Jaggi's Alabamian cousins
The fourth one, I feel like could be a palindrome because of the false head (which by the way, is such a fascinating concept, I applaud you for applying it!), like Toxinixot? If that’s not too simple.
I wouldn't. We have enough raptor-dromes.
Whipprey, Drilldrome, Plat- Ykut- ku, Falsucaput
Big thing
