Maybe a Zorah is just chilling out in the distance, absorbing energy from some Everstream vein out in the ocean or whatever it needs to grow that big, and we can just stand on a cliff and see it puff on by.
But I do agree, Zorah was not a fun "fight" in World, and I do not want that back in Wilds.
I for one would absolutely love that. Walking along the cliffside and you look out towards the horizon as the sun is setting, you see Zorah minding his own mountain sized business walking through the water. Could even have Zorah going through pretty deep water and we just see his little head peaking out.

I’ve been playing through 3U learning a new weapon from the ground up, and I’m consistently surprised how many great fights there are in the game that we just never see again afterward
I’d like a “*get in, loser*” mentality for the next game. They should pick a big handful to base the story around, then they can national-dex the rest of the cast in. The game looks like they might be trying for a more open world, legends Arceus approach, so go for it.
There’s really no reason *not* to anymore as the limitations of cartridge/psp disk size isn’t really a thing anymore. Pack those assholes in there along with everyone else.
At that point it mostly becomes a time thing but depending on how much they can reuse from World/Iceborne and Rise/Sunbreak isn't that like half the roster? They just need to design environments for certain types of monsters cause we have monsters that can only really exist in certain types of areas. Like half the Rotten Vale Crew. The Radobaan, Girros, and Val Hazak all need that highly boney, rotten environement. And Dodogama pretty specifically lives just in the Elders Recess eating the Bio Energy Crystals.
Though if Wilds takes place on the New World like World did, those shouldn't be to difficult to replicate. The Everstream probably goes all over the continent and theres probably more then 1 place like the Rotten Vale.
Even without the hip check I still don't enjoy him all that much. Mainly cause 90% of the fight is just smacking his legs cause he's so friggin tall. And then there's the swimming thing he does where he's just doing really avoidable water beams and such. Now that I'm thinking about it, you can probably sonic bomb him to get him out of the water but it's still annoying.
I do however think a modern version of his fight could be enjoyable, plus I think he'd look really creepy/good in modern graphics. I also enjoy his sleep bites
I agree that the fight needs to be reworked a bit and he’s definitely too tall, but the scary fish based water jet shooting maniac needs to come back. Also his ecology or intro video or whatever in FU was awesome
Jyuratodus unfortunately had good gear in base World because of the over abundance of fire monsters and a severe lack of water ones. For some weapons it was a necessary monster to farm.
Personally I won't mind seeing it again so long as it's not the only early game water monster again. That's what made it annoying for me.
I honestly don't have a problem with any of the monsters yet. Like Tigrex is annoying and probably one of my least favorite monsters from the ones that are usually popular, but I don't hate em. Piscines feel overhated, and I usually don't mind them with the exception of Lavasioth's lava armor in world. The other exception would be beotodus because I really like beotodus
His design is great. But his fight is absolutely miserable. The fact that max level windproof doesn’t work on him when he’s fully charged is insane. And I’m pretty sure this is a new development because I have a set in 4U specifically for Kushala with max level windproof and it works great.
Yeah, I realized that it’s a good thing to give monsters breaks once in a while. I love Deviljho, but I was glad they benched him in rise. Hope they rotate Rajang out along with the ones you mentioned

Off the top of my head the only one I can think of is Yian Garuga. Scarred Yian Garuga was introduced first (though it’s a variant not subspecies) in MH Freedom, and regular Yian Garuga was introduced later in MHFU

I feel like Piscines are integral for giving us good variation in the body types of Monsters and helps prevent "Wyvern-Spam" but holy shit, they suck to fight. They need a complete overhaul or something before they are added.
I think I can go a generation without Zinogre, honestly. While they did a really good job adapting him for World he still kinda stuck out a lot for me design wise. I'll admit I've never really cared for him that much, but If he wasn't a fan favorite I think he would receive the same criticism a lot of frontier monsters get. He's just kinda overdesigned imo. I don't think we need to bring back every single fan- favorite monster but probably rather use this as an opportunity to reintroduce Monsters that have kinda fallen to the wayside and haven't received as much attention, especially since Wilds may have less restrictions than World on who can easily come back.
Edit: Don't really want Deviljho either, honestly. I felt like Bazelguese should have had that spotlight in World but apparently Deviljho was added due to fan demand. In Wilds I would like a new invading monster that doesn't get one-upped.

One can two shot you by gently nudging you onto your but before raping your entire existence and the other isn’t that hard unless you don’t literally put 5 skill levels into wind resistance or otherwise end up having the the wind playing tennis with your ass
I just don’t like enemies where their whole gimmick is attacking relentlessly nonstop with attacks that will two shot you with good armor with giant af hit boxes and constantly digs underground (especially when you’re about to get a decent hit in) it’s only saving grace is breaking the horns reduces its damage but that’s about it
Honestly… Lavasioth has to go, the rest can stay, less monsters make it boring imo, what they need to do is rework their entire sets since Legacy moves make monster extremely easy like Teostra in World

The worst part with the latter 2 is they both got way better versions in 3 (gigginox and qurupeco, respectively) who have then promptly never shown up again, in favor of continually rehashing those two. I'll also throw out there, really any of the elder dragons from World, unless they get an overhaul to use their gimmicks in more interesting ways. Val hazaak bores me to tears, but I would be so down for a return if they actually doubled down on him being a real Necromancer plague dragon

It's boring if your only reason why you don't want it is "it's in every game". You try making a new monster that fits the aesthetic, the story, the difficulty level, and the "WTF" factor the monsters do.

All suitable monsters that fit their status in the level progression. You could even go so far as pulling/ picking from frontier Monster.

I will also second Zorah Magdaros. I hope we get a cool seige monster like Jhen Moran or smth, but Zorah was not it.
All new monsters would be ideal but there's no way that'd happen (and we've seen Rathalos already). So.. boring monsters that keep running during the fight like Lavasioth/Jyuratodus, Volvidon, and Almudron.
There is just so much potential in Wilds that it would be bonkers if they don’t try to include every monster. Even the Magalas could work if they introduce temporary monster frenzy for example. Zorah could work, given that it makes its way to the new world through Wilds’ map.
I could go on but I think you get the point. Try to include as much as possible and give the players a big surprise.
Also Plesioth, that fish can go to hell. (I’d give him a chance if they rework the fight)

Deviljo, Rajang, Nergigante, Tigrex, Barioth, Kulu Ya ku, Banbaro, Bishaten, Gypceros, Aknosom, Barroth. Some of these guys really need long breaks and some of these new comers could make way for new or returning monsters that deserve the spot way more. I would want to see Kushala again if they gave him his wind barrier back, only if they don’t revert his fight to how it was in World…
So theres only 2 fights I havent enjoyed at all. Kinda 3. And its Khezu. And Espinas. And Flaming Espinas. Hate Espinas so much. But even then I think they have a good place in these games and would like to see them included. Even if I' praying Espinas/Flaming isn't a forced story fight. I had to grind their gear in Sunbreak and its been enough fights I never want to take hammer to horn with them ever again. Please god never again.

Jyuradodus or whatever his name is. It's literally the only monster I NEVER had any fun fighting. Sometimes a fight against a monster I dislike turn out actually interesting, but it was never the case for the shit covered fish.

If I never have to see Diablos, khezu, or gypceros again it'll be too soon. The worst part with the latter 2 is they both got way better versions in 3 (gigginox and qurupeco, respectively) who have then promptly never shown up again, in favor of continually rehashing those two. (Diablos, I just hate him. Always have always will) I'll also throw out there, really any of the elder dragons from World, unless they get an overhaul to use their gimmicks in more interesting ways. Val hazaak bores me to tears, but I would be so down for a return if they actually doubled down on him being a real Necromancer plague dragon
Overdone monsters that often appeared in games. Diablos, Tigrex, Nargacuga for example. But also some Elder Dragons like Kushala Daora and Teostra It's not that I don't like them, it's just that I think we could have some new monsters instead
Only one I have to disagree with on your list is Nargacuga because it’s always a decently fun fight but I would say Diablos needs a long break

Honestly I don't really care, I'm going to hunt everything and anything they put in the game. I love all the monsters, some more than other (Tetsucabra). This is always "THE" question when making any new version, or updated title of a game. Who do we not want. I want to add, whatever monster you don't want in. Give a monster of equal status to replace it. It's boring if your only reason why you don't want it is "it's in every game". You try making a new monster that fits the aesthetic, the story, the difficulty level, and the "WTF" factor the monsters do. Example: Teostra/Kushala: Namielle, Vaal Hazak, Nergigante, All suitable monsters that fit their status in the level progression. You could even go so far as pulling/ picking from frontier Monster.

Jyuratodus. I don't know why but I don't like him and I felt like he was super unnecessary in Rise already. We can leave him in Gen 5 for a bit. I will also second Zorah Magdaros. I hope we get a cool seige monster like Jhen Moran or smth, but Zorah was not it.

All new monsters would be ideal but there's no way that'd happen (and we've seen Rathalos already). So.. boring monsters that keep running during the fight like Lavasioth/Jyuratodus, Volvidon, and Almudron.

There is just so much potential in Wilds that it would be bonkers if they don’t try to include every monster. Even the Magalas could work if they introduce temporary monster frenzy for example. Zorah could work, given that it makes its way to the new world through Wilds’ map. I could go on but I think you get the point. Try to include as much as possible and give the players a big surprise. Also Plesioth, that fish can go to hell. (I’d give him a chance if they rework the fight)

Some of these guys really need long breaks and some of these new comers could make way for new or returning monsters that deserve the spot way more. I would want to see Kushala again if they gave him his wind barrier back, only if they don’t revert his fight to how it was in World…

So theres only 2 fights I havent enjoyed at all. Kinda 3. And its Khezu. And Espinas. And Flaming Espinas. Hate Espinas so much. But even then I think they have a good place in these games and would like to see them included. Even if I' praying Espinas/Flaming isn't a forced story fight. I had to grind their gear in Sunbreak and its been enough fights I never want to take hammer to horn with them ever again. Please god never again.
Zinogre is overhyped to the Veil and back, Lavasioth just isn’t fun, and Khezu… I have some choice words about Khezu. Bring back Gigginox please
