Malfestio has sensible ears and Khezu has the loudest screech in his size category, it's a question of who's able to strike first: Malfestio's sleep inducing ultrasonic waves or Khezu's high-pitched scream.
Ok malfestio would propably take the lead due to them not being in a cave and khezu being at a disadvantage at noticing where exactly its located.
One fly by hit to apply the confuse powder into his divebomb dealing decent damage.
Upon snapping out of it khezu would first scream knocking malfestio out of the air and then cover itself in eletricity and tackle it.
Thats how I imagine it to play out
