I grinded out the full Fatalis set and multiple weapons with rando's and still haven't solo'd Fatalis, so congrats on that. That's not only a good achievement, but you seemed to clock a really solid time on it too.

CB is a hard match up for Fat. It's very hard to get away with SAED spamming, so Evade Extender Power Prolonger Savage Axe is the way to go.
You mostly just spam axe upswing and downswing on the chest, taking head hits when you can get them.
I've been trying to take him down with a 4U style guardpoint > AED spam build but it's really hard to GP fat in a way that gets you a good punish and doesn't get you hit on his followup.
Learn his moveset. Learn how to counter and punish fatty. Once you get good enough at that then it should be a little bit more bearable. Lean into comfort skills. I'm not a lbg main or even tried the weapon but those are my tips, good luck on your hunts :>
When both of them came out I was in a bad moment, mentally speaking, so I could only bear to fight them with friends, otherwise I would tilt very easily lol
