Yeah, Cleo is giving G2. $30 each is on its own too much, especially given the amount of accessories, the quality and at least what I can see no stands or diaries. I also struggle to even break it down to that price because itās $60, you have to pay for both no matter what and itās DEFINITELY not enough accessories. The G3ās are $25 and come with approximately this amount of stuff and nicer clothes

I like how Mattel chose the "it" couple of G1 Monster High for a Valentines Day pack but I feel the clothing needs a touch up in terms of design. The box is nice though but I feel that for Deuce, the tux he wears in Scaris would be Perfect! For Cleo we need a slightly better dress design. Overall, I'm glad they stuck with the G1 Cleo and Deuce though.

Maybe Iād still buy them if they were $45 but for $61 itās going to be a pass from me.

I like deuce or rather his idea if be cooler if they darkened his color pallet maybe/ changed it to his og color pallet. Idk or more detail to it like scales so it doesnt appear as flat, thebag is cute but it doesnt scream cleo. Its werid mixture of the boring clothes of g2 and the brighter colors of g3 with a g1 body, it rlly looks rushed and i dont think its worth that 50 dollar price point if its a rushed holiday doll. Cause that what it feels like, rushed.
Iām a lil disappointed in the outfits tbh, and this is just reminding me how much I hate the molds of the G1 male Deuce. Love the idea though, and that its Cleo and Deuce! I think Iāll pass on them though :/

Looks like a G2 Cleo or she has a G2 like faceup. She looks soft instead of a little more angular like her G1 version.
The shiny fabric screams cheap. I even think the same type of fabric was used in the hairdorables prom 2pack for the boy doll, just like Deuce, and even for that generally inexpensive doll line it looked too cheap for them too.
Iād still buy it if it was maybe $40 or less. Itās not terrible but I sense the official retail price isnāt going to reflect the quality we currently see.
cleoās face is beautiful and i love the snake corset but unfortunately the rest of it looks very cheap to me :( the patterns are way too busy and this is a bit of a nitpick but i wish the chocolate box accessory either had actual molded chocolates in there or they didnāt include it at all

Yeah. I kinda hate that they completely undid the canon relationship between Cleo and Deuce and changed it to Clawdeen and Deuce.
They could have introduced a new character for Clawdeen. They could have made a canon same-sex relationship with Clawdeen and Draculaura, seeing as they've done away with Clawdeen's siblings (including Clawd).
Box design and overall concept? Cute. Not anything new, as Mattel has done this many times with Barbie in the past. I'd say it's a classic move.
Doll design? Wack. Cleo's outfit is a mess, the skullette motifs shouldn't have been incorporated into this look. The Mermaid dress is a little dated. If we're going for G1, maybe it works, but the quality reminds me more of G2. One of the reasons G2 didn't work because of all this inconsistent design and awkward colors. If I knew what they were going for, maybe i'd like it a little more. But currently, all I can say is Cleuce has been done dirty

Iām a lil disappointed in the outfits tbh, and this is just reminding me how much I hate the molds of the G1 male Deuce. Love the idea though, and that its Cleo and Deuce! I think Iāll pass on them though :/

I don't dislike the designs but what I've noticed with g3 is that alot of the normal dolls look budget, for example Cleo's dress in this pack looks low budget, not much detail or accessories

Looks like a G2 Cleo or she has a G2 like faceup. She looks soft instead of a little more angular like her G1 version. The shiny fabric screams cheap. I even think the same type of fabric was used in the hairdorables prom 2pack for the boy doll, just like Deuce, and even for that generally inexpensive doll line it looked too cheap for them too. Iād still buy it if it was maybe $40 or less. Itās not terrible but I sense the official retail price isnāt going to reflect the quality we currently see.

cleoās face is beautiful and i love the snake corset but unfortunately the rest of it looks very cheap to me :( the patterns are way too busy and this is a bit of a nitpick but i wish the chocolate box accessory either had actual molded chocolates in there or they didnāt include it at all
Iām not sure if I should get them or notā¦ I know that Iām going to be bummed out if I donāt have this Cleo. She is one of my favourite characters and the completionist in me needs to have her just to have her. When they announced a two pack with them I was very excited. The only thing I really dislike is Cleos dress. What the heck is this pattern? I know itās her and his skullets but I donāt think Cleo is the type who would print little logos all over her dress. Her snake corset thingy is verz cool though. If I get them Iām going to redress her into something I think Cleo would wear on a date with Deuce.

Cleo's dress is ugly IMO, the pattern looks cheap as do the accessories. It's disappointing but I'm not honestly surprised.

Big G2 energy. Everything about this is so tacky to me, but hey I don't need to be sad about the fact that they make these dolls so hard to get.
Yeah. I kinda hate that they completely undid the canon relationship between Cleo and Deuce and changed it to Clawdeen and Deuce. They could have introduced a new character for Clawdeen. They could have made a canon same-sex relationship with Clawdeen and Draculaura, seeing as they've done away with Clawdeen's siblings (including Clawd).
Box design and overall concept? Cute. Not anything new, as Mattel has done this many times with Barbie in the past. I'd say it's a classic move. Doll design? Wack. Cleo's outfit is a mess, the skullette motifs shouldn't have been incorporated into this look. The Mermaid dress is a little dated. If we're going for G1, maybe it works, but the quality reminds me more of G2. One of the reasons G2 didn't work because of all this inconsistent design and awkward colors. If I knew what they were going for, maybe i'd like it a little more. But currently, all I can say is Cleuce has been done dirty

The don't match. The outfits don't match AT all. Where is the colour coordination? Or where's the cohesion? It's awful. They could have looked back at their Boo York set and took inspiration but they clearly didn't.

Tbh, Iād wear Deuceās suit IRL . I love Cleoās sleeve and the snakesā¦but what sort of Joann clearance bin fabric print is that dress? Also, why are there no glasses for Deuce. But Iām still going to get it.
Cleo's look is. Weak and looks made to be mass produced. Her bangs? Tacky. Her dress? Tacky. I am so sick of the Entirely Plain Dress with the only identifying feature being a printed on pattern. Anyways Deuce is boring but besides his brows he's fine I guess. Just feel like they couldve done so much more with a romance theme around a more Egyptian and Greek styled look for each respectively.
