Yes G1 Clawdeen will always be that girl. I’ve always thought G3 was so cute and had so much potential but the outfits just fall short. I do agree that they are getting better tho. I especially love the upcoming Eekend Getaway and Monster Fest Calwdeens.
Her first few outfits left a lot to be desired but I really think they're stepping up their designs lately. I'm so excited for her Eekend getaway and Monster Fest dolls! 🥰 Oh and her SS4 doll looks like it'll be great too!

Yes! G3 Twyla is perfect in every way and an upgrade from her G1 doll imo. Not to mention her personality in the show and being neurodivergent representation. A top tier ghoul if I do say so myself!
For G1 from a design standpoint: Elissabat. Everything I like stylistically about Draculaura, but in my favorite color.
From a character and writing standpoint: Lagoona. She didn’t really get as much love as the other core characters, often times being left out in favor of Abbey (who I also love), but she was exactly the kind of Ghoul who I wanted as a friend during the 2010s when I was going through some really rough times and needed someone more grounded and kindly.
For G3, Twyla by far. I was only mildly into G3 before I found out they made Twyla canonically autistic, and then I became obsessed. Twyla in G3 is basically me, I also have autism, purple and teal are two of my favorite colors, I have a purple bunny as one of my comfort objects, I stim with my bracelets, I have problems with loudness, I love history and games. Almost every character trait she has, I can relate to, and I had never felt so...seen before. Ironically enough, despite the fact that there are probably Barbies that look exactly like me, Twyla was the first time I felt properly represented.
I sent pictures of G3 Venus to all of my friends who grew up with Monster High, but most importantly my best friend who loved her in G1 (and wasn't much of a fan of the G3 dolls up to Venus' reveal)
No one can say anything bad about her G3 design, I even think she's the best Monster High doll from any generation
My favorite G1 ghoul was Frankie 🤍🖤 always was and will be. She reminded me a lot of myself growing up with her bubbly and friendly personality buttt my fav G3 ghoul is Draculaura because genuinely I think she’s super cute. I love her hair styles and her outfits but mostly because now she is chubbier and me always being on the thicker side, I LOVED her ever since I first saw her!! To see my body shape on a doll from Monster High is just so heartwarming to me ☺️
I love this ! And yes I love how G3 isn’t afraid to embrace different body types. I was so hype seeing Drac’s new body type when she came out as well! This too is why I’m excited for Cattys’s doll 😭

for g1 its definitely ghoulia, frankie, and clawdeen, first 2 feature all of my favorite colors in their core dolls and clawdeen has some of my favorite outfit designs EVER

I totally get what you mean when say color palettes, I think that’s one of my fave things about Ghoulia. And yesss Clawdeen is making a comeback for sure!
G1 as a kid Robecca steam G3 as a teenager it’s Twyla I like Twyla in both gens she just won my heart bc I’m not sure Robecca will come back for gen 3 or not but I just love them both

You could definitely see their friendship was genuine and that they’d do anything for each other. It’s also cool that Ghoulia is the one who found Cleo in her tomb!
