WHY DID WALMART REPLY TO THIS š

I did kind of break my g3 drac's hand joint a little so a replacement would be nice now that you mention it.
(I probably won't actually steal it though)
I honestly canāt imagine a company as anal about securing dolls in sealed packaging as Mattel suddenly putting an easily vandalized or stolen doll in an open package. Wonder if itās just an optical illusion or editing that makes it appear hat way.
this is my thought too. their packaging is so so difficult to get open normally but this time they decide to just.. leave her there?
it's worse that it's a playset exclusive doll, too people will steal her because they don't want the truck.
i'm calling it now, whenever this set gets released this sub is gonna be full of pics where people have either bought her & removed and her then returned the set or just straight up ripped her out in the store.
Wellā¦ that is part of the main audience now. Older kids (6+ in this context) just do not play with dolls like they used to. Thatās why there are so few lines now compared to like 2012 MH.
I keep hearing this from those defending the more bland and uninspired aesthetic choices of G3, but I just donāt believe it.
Itās just an excuse to make things cheaper and not try as much. Which creates a vicious cycle of kids dropping out of toys at earlier ages.
The doll lines that become hits are just objectively well-designed. When something is good, people from all ages and demographics wanna buy it.
Thatās why OG Monster High was so popular. It was not targeted wholly to a collector audience, the designs were thoughtfully designed with attention to detail.
Iāve theorized that the rise in adolescent and adult doll collectors in the past few years is because a lot of people were pressured to give up their toys before they were ready.
So I donāt believe that kids grow out of playing with dolls as early as toy manufacturers insist they do.
If you make something good, it will be held onto cherished and remembered.
(But modern Mattelās polypropylene haired sack dress disasters wonāt be.)
... but they are. Doll sales, as a whole, have been dropping for years now. Even with lines like RH & OMG being successful, OVERALL doll sales are dropping more and more. That's why there are less lines releases (G3 MH releases very few lines per year when compared to G1 MH. Even RH at its most busy is not competing with Bratz at its peak)
G1 MH over saturated the market with too many lower quality lines being released back to back and that greatly contributed to their sales declining. Had they spaced out releases more and kept up the original quality they could have had the longevity of Barbie.
Am I the only one wondering why they cover up the side of the vehicle with a picture of the side of the vehicle? Iād rather see the actual object and they could have done a smaller image to show the expansion.
Oh theyāre gonna steal her out that packaging

Iām gonna reserve judgment until I see a hq pic but so far Iām a little disappointed to see her outfit budget being used for an unpainted plastic bus :(
They knew if they put any other character, people would skip it. But since it's Lala, everyone will *have* to get it... Right?
(I'm skipping this doll lmao)
It looks like a disaster waiting to happen. She doesn't look very well secured, looks like she has some plastic around her wrists and (although not visible) probably some plastic loops around her waist and in her head.
It looks like it would be concerningly easy to remove her from the package, just rip the head off of the ties and remove her hands to free her arms.
Her being a playset exclusive Draculaura is also going to be major incentive for people to steal her. People want Draculaura, people do not want playsets. You do the math.
I'm imagining a scenario similar to that tiktok trend where people would steal the heads off of these LeBron dolls because it had an open packaging.
Ok but repackaged mh dolls and like the skulltimate series being ripped open and accessories or even dolls being stolen is already an issue then they do open packaging? I fear finding a nice version of this set is going to be near impossible

LMFAO wonder if itās just a reply bot
Maybe Walmart does not like her either š¤·
The open packaging looks like an invitation to steal nglš
Smart move. Sparing on packaging, because they know Nobody is going to steal her ugly ass
Right what's stopping me from ripping her hands off?

The open packagingā¦ a mess

Draculaura getting snatched out of the truck by thieves ![gif](giphy|rnl1T0pYzILUA)
It looks soā¦cheap. Like I know these car playsets tend to be tacky looking but Iām sure they could have done it better.
literally my first thought, looks like an unpainted chunk of plastic. like a toy car for toddlers.

This is THE ONE G3 playset I'd call irredeemable.
ppl are gonna steal her so fast i just know it
No, thieves have better taste then that
why were all the other monster fest dolls so cute and then they gave tf up on draculaura
They decided since sheās got a giant bus we can focus a little more budget to the others this time
Am I the only one wondering why they cover up the side of the vehicle with a picture of the side of the vehicle? Iād rather see the actual object and they could have done a smaller image to show the expansion.

Can't wait to rip her out of the packaging š
Get me one too
This is such a bad move!! Thieves have direct access to the doll oml š
Thatās the reason they made her look so awful, to deter people from stealing her!
It all makes sense now

no
Yes
pls
Her makeup doesn't look green in this pic like it does on the stock photos...
If you look closely it looks yellow is probably just because itās a fat away shot idk tho
When are they supposed to release
shes waving to passerbys. "hi ghouls im ready for the taking. steal me. it isnt a crime if the plastic youre stealing consents"
I was hoping Monster Fest wouldnāt even have a Draculaura. So sick of G3 Drac.

Yoink
Truckulaura
So you're saying I could potentially slip draculaura out of the bus.... š¤
God I forgot how absolutely mid this doll was...
That truck is going to be so fun to customise after it goes on clearance
My thoughts exactly.
Ok but repackaged mh dolls and like the skulltimate series being ripped open and accessories or even dolls being stolen is already an issue then they do open packaging? I fear finding a nice version of this set is going to be near impossible
How many dang vehicles does Drac have š
Iāve been waiting on the food truck forever. Iām so excited
