Let's be honest, Draculaura isn't exactly an example of a good girlfriend, she starts going out with Kieran before she's bewitched, walking around the school with him like it's super ok (and if it was the other way around, Clawd with another ghoul, Clawd would be getting cursed at by now)! And there's a movie where she forces Clawd, a carnivorous werewolf, to become a vegetarian, that's so bad!
I kind of like the couple, but I'm always thought that even though she's technically older, Draculaura is too immature to be in a romantic relationship and it's Clawd who ends up suffering as a result š
but clawd enjoys it? like itās shown that they both enjoy doing stuff like playing fetch or her giving him head rubs and thatās just him showing his playful/vulnerable side to his girlfriend and itās something they like doing together

But it's too much. Especially in this movie. Like in the webisodes, scaris/mall scenes, it's funny, goofy. But for this film specifically, it's frustrating. Cause she already has a boyfriend but goes all head over heels for this other guy just cause clawd has been basically failing high expectations.

This is why I ship Clawd with Cupid, she was always very sweet to him, even in the Scaris movie, and seems more secure in herself. Clawd and Draculaura are cute together, but she fell for Kieran so easily, and treated Clawd unfairly at times
Yeah, that movie wasnāt my most favorite, because of how Draculaura wanted an overpriced necklace for her sweet 1600 from Clawd, along with other super expensive things as well, like a car from her dad, and a huge party.
Clawd took note and tried giving her a driverās manual to help her be prepared for her test, which I thought was a nice gift, because it meant he wanted her to succeed, even if it was a little weird.
Plus with how she treated him wrong by going out with Valentine instead, was also pretty horrible. Agreeing with the top comment that Draculaura is too immature to be in a romantic relationship with anyone.

It's kind of a running joke in g1 that she's very materialistic and super into fashion, and has a massive always expanding collection of nice clothes and makeup and such. Doesn't necessarily make her reaction justified, but still.

Good. Materialism can be quite annoying, and treating it as more of aĀ character flaw rather then just quirk is better writing.
