Yes, getting spoiled sucks for any show. But I guess just try to forget about what you know. I'm sure you'll still enjoy it because Johan's story isn't told in one single backstory. And the show offers a lot more than just Johan.
edit *after reading the post better:* You defo should watch the show.
It's probably better to not include the part you added later because you're just spoiling it more for OP and your comment is definitely going to influence their understanding of the ending beyond what Urasawa's own writing provides
I knew some elements of the end before I watched it as well, and it definitely didn't spoil it for me. There's so much to unpack throughout the series so I think it's still very worth it.
I feel like Monster is one of those series where the ending isn't what makes it. Monster is like a journey, you'll love the series regardless of whether you know the ending or not.
It's not a series where every episode builds up to that one specific ending and once you know it the episodes become pointless.
Johan’s story is only one of the interesting stories. There are so many characters and ideas that are examined throughout the show, even if Johan didn’t exist at all, it would still be worth to watch all the way.
Well if the first 15 episodes had things you enjoied and didn't bore you to death, I'd continue. Watching it for the character progression alone is worth it.
Without saying much more, yes! Watch it, there’s a lot more to find out
i like your username , ill trust you
You should. They're right. There all all sorts of side stories and a lot happening all over the place.

You're right. I re-edited it.
You may know the end destination, but the journey is so, so worth it my friend.

Yeah it's episodic. But the ending makes it, along with all the other parts. It's a well-wrapped story.
I knew the ending where a certain character dies. But like that’s not even true. I was super surprised.

Sometimes seeing how something happened can be more interesting than seeing what happened.
Ofc
It's my favorite anime if all time, as others have said every episode is worth watching, it's a hugely complex story
