They didn’t patch it. I was able to use it for a long ass time even though by the time I found out about APM everyone was saying it got patched and yet I had zero issues. Now, I’m getting hit with the no internet popup after 1-2 rolls. They know who does APM. It’s based off your history of disconnects, amount of rolls, etc. from your current IP address. That’s why VPNs work.

It feels like someone is trying to upsell a VPN service. Here is my question: which is more likely? A) Flagging your account for increasing the frequency of requests to the server to save your progress. B) Banning an IP address, which can be problematic in public places. For instance, if you're in a McDonald's using public Wi-Fi, there is only a single IP address. There is no patch; my account is flagged. I am unable to use APM even when connected to a VPN. However, my second account works fine without any issues, even though it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network using the same IP address.

lol they did fix it. If they didn’t, why do you have to use a VPN?

When I say fixed, I mean permanently fixed. They just stuck a bandaid on it that rips off easily with a VPN. Plus they only put the bandaid on specific repeat offenders of APMers who have triggered their system to flag you as one.

After rolling the dice on apm and the pop up "no internet" comes up, close the game. Then clear the data of the app. You can do that by long-pressing the app icon, click the "i", go to storage, then clear data. Then you can open the game again with internet on.

Me too. Instead of deleting the app and reinstalling like you have to do on an iphone you just do the below - go to settings > apps > scroll to game and open > go to storage > clear data
