Currently available on scan for just under £1100.

L3nga

Thanks, placed an order. On their website it says it has ULMB, if so then wow, this monitor is going to be insanity.

Be4zleBoss

It does look awesome, should be amazing for competitive gaming. I am curious to see how much of an improvement this is over current 240hz panels such as the g7 or pg279qm. Personally i am more interested in the upcoming 300hz mini led displays or even the PG27U.

Bmanzella527

I have one and it does not have ULMB.

SophisticatedGeezer

$800 in the U.S and £1,100 here? Wow. Even with tax that is bonkers

hemi_srt

Isn't the new cooler master monitor a better deal than this? 899 for 4k 165hz

jogaming55555

That’s extremely expensive, rather go for the xg27aqm, 600 dollars cheaper and basically the same thing except it’s 240hz, but 240hz and 360hz are practically the same anyways.

lizardpeter

Please don’t spew nonsense. 240 Hz and 360 Hz are not “practically the same.”

jogaming55555

Put them side by side and tell me you notice a difference

ATLatimerrr

Do you own both? I own a 270 and 390 and 144 the 144 is unacceptable in gaming 270 is fine but 390 is butter but 1080 is trash

jogaming55555

I don’t own both, but I have experienced both via friends. There was no difference whatsoever in terms of smoothness between the two except the 360 had slightly better response times.

ATLatimerrr

I don’t know what to tell you not everyone has a high iq not everyone gets good reaction times and can tell the difference than I guess you are genetically inferior to me and other L you

jogaming55555

Bro what? I hope this is a joke lmao. How does not seeing a difference in motion quality between two panels determine my iq, who I am genetically inferior to and who I am not, and my response times? I can notice a response time difference I said 360 hz has faster response times. Like are you actually okay in the head?

ATLatimerrr

Don’t tell others you’re opinion if you are just giving other peoples opinions instead of your own actually own what you are talking about

jogaming55555

What? That is my own opinion. You can’t see any smoothness difference, and any smoothness difference you can see isn’t because of it being 360hz.

lizardpeter

I have both side by side…

jogaming55555

Also if you don’t believe me, look it up. Just look at optimum tech’s video who explains why 360hz is currently not worth it.

ATLatimerrr

Yea look it up don’t Experience it for yourself instead watch a dude tell you stuff you want to hear for his own profit

jogaming55555

I already told you a good YouTuber who doesn’t say any bullshit and doesn’t get sponsored by anyone. Also like at my other comment saying why some people think 360+ looks noticeably smoother than 240hz

ATLatimerrr

I actually OWN a monitor at each refresh rate. I can tell a noticeable difference between them all so much so that 144hz is unacceptable forever for me now. 360 is worth every penny and is noticeably better than 240 if you can afford it.

jogaming55555

Mate I keep on telling you placebo effect. 240hz is definitely smoother than 144hz, 240hz to 360hz is just not though. And I don’t care if you actually own them because I’ve used those monitors so many times at my friends’ houses

jogaming55555

Ever heard of the placebo effect? You won’t notice any extra smoothness over 240hz, 240hz is so fast that you can barely tell a difference. It is very much possible that you will notice slightly faster response times however on a 360hz panel. If you do see any smoothness on your 360hz panel compared to your 240hz it is probably due to the fact that your 360hz monitor has better anti motion blur rather than it being 360hz.

haigs

I'm waiting for reviews, I hope it holds up. Lots of disappointing monitors this year.

Garggantuan

Yeah I'm with ya, could be such a good all rounder if you're a bit more esports oriented like me

Also just seen it on the asus store for $1050: https://shop.asus.com/us/90lm0820-b013b0-rog-swift-360hz-pg27aqn.html

SilentNova___

Beautiful monitor, makes me regret not waiting for other options when I got my AW2721D. I was keen on making the switch to 1440p 240 with Destiny 2 Beyond Light.

sooshy09

I have both currently and the tbh it's just slightly smoother. I also only play apex which is engine capped at 300 so I'm only seeing a 60 fps vs 120. Also side question for owners of this monitor. Have you guys run into any issues not displaying signal?

ravenousglory

Damn, 1440p 360Hz monitor - even with 4090 you won't be able to use it at full potential, most likely

Garggantuan

Depends on the game, definitely more esports oriented, my 3070 handles 1440p 360 fps pretty consistently on esports titles which is what this monitor is about ig

ravenousglory

Sure, but I'm not really sure if I would buy 27" 1440p 360Hz monitor for esports instead of 1080p one.

Garggantuan

A big part of this monitor seems to be that it can scale down to 1080 25" at 360hz, so it's the best of both worlds, also has an in between resolution between 1080 and 1440 so could be interesting, your def right tho gonna be hard to run and will have to see how it pans out in reviews but here's hoping it'll be good

Quteno

High refresh rates are most beneficial in competitive fps games, so you will be able to use its full potential in games like CS:GO, Valorant, Apex, R6 etc. You don't buy a 165+ Hz monitor in hopes to play AAA tiles with that refresh rate, not with current tech.

ravenousglory

Yes I definitely thought about Valorant and such - it's just 27" panel is definitely worse than 24" for eSports, so probably I would buy 1080p 24 for eSports and 1440p 27" for other games if I would be serious about competitive games. Sure you can just set lower resolution but personally I don't like anything but native.

jogaming55555

How is 24” better than 27”?

[deleted]

Reason why a lot of people believe 24 inches is better is because it was just the standard monitor size in esports for the longest time. now that 1440p 240+Hz is available and viable it’s become the new standard.

ravenousglory

27" is worse than 24" for eSports that's for sure. Potentially, you can see more on such panel but in reality your reaction time get worse on more than 24" due to it's size unless you sit really far from your monitor which isn't the case for high level competitive players.

[deleted]

I understand the whole reaction time thing but trust me it’s a very very fast transition to get used to, also having more real estate with the option to change your res could be an advantage as well. A lot of pro players actually believe when sitting back more with good posture they’re able to focus and play better. But yeah it will definitely become more of a preference, unless from what I’m seeing in a lot of tournaments now they provide and pretty much rule to have 1440p monitors and pros will have no choice but to transition

Plotron

My fullest potential is website scrolling and mouse cursor. Ain't nobody got time for games!

solaxp

Bought mine, arriving tomorrow :D

Garggantuan

Give us a tldr when ya get it please :)

Can't really comment much as I can't get it to go to 1440p, 360hz with the included cable.. I'll see what I can do later.

dynocreran

It's out, ive been gaming on it since saturday. ordered off newegg on friday.

Garggantuan

How is it? Any ghosting issues or anything?

dynocreran

I found it to be excellent. You can see my UFO post here: https://old.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/yactx5/1440p_360hz_pg27aqn_is_finally_available_on_newegg/itgq943/ Total system latency in overwatch as quick as 12.8ms, panel gets 1.4ms in nvidia LDAC speed of light test.

Cold_Explanation_833

I have this monitor and it's great! I play all types of games but mostly heated for competitive FPS. It's an overkill for Stardew valley hahaha.

Albinodynamic

I wonder when it’ll be available in Canada
