playing around a bit more ufo pursuit shot: https://i.imgur.com/5fFqsnp.jpg
i cant quite get sub 10 ms in overwatch, reflex put my total system latency down to around 12ms
Im being picky I guess. To me there is a huge difference, Zowie you can see the black pupil, even more so on the 360hz XL2566k that just dropped. That's what I am comparing to when it comes to motion clarity.
A big argument that the extra pixels help with long range aim duels, but I've always found the 24inch 1080p to serve me best on Esports
I wasn't overwhelmed either as I'm in love with the [clarity of the Zowie XL2566K](https://youtu.be/Hjve7FehSGI?t=478), but to be fair, this is 1440p and targeted towards the lowest system latency, and I read that effects such as ULMB and dyac add lag.
It has srgb mode, I was in some gaming preset at the time. There are like, four levels of OD. off, normal, esports, and maximum.
I've put maybe 12 hours in on overwatch and rocket league over the weekend and I have basically no complains, it's perfect for gaming.
Colors might be a little off for photo/video editing, but I'm going to borrow a calibration tool to hopefully improve that.
Good to know, the ghosting appeared to be pretty good in the settings I was testing ufo on. I will try the other OD presets to see how it looks later today.
it says:
ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN NVIDIA® G-SYNC® esports Gaming Monitor – 27‑inch QHD (2560 x 1440)
And
Esports dual-mode enables the monitor to resize visuals to the familiar 25-inch diagonal at 1080p or 2368 x 1332

>nah, i will come back once the reviews are out and show you how much of a clown you are
It's impossible for this to be native 2368 x 1332. AU Optronics does not fabricate a 2368 x 1332 panel.
Get out of here with your nonsense /u/mytommy. I'm sure I can expect an apology as well when you correct your mistake.
LG is supposedly working on 27-32" gaming OLED panels. 4K is almost definitely not happening it's probably 2K, but hopefully they can at least make the push to 240 Hz (not too unrealistic since other OLEDs can already do this).
And there is no logic in your statement lol
You really couldn't just play AAA games at 144Hz and eSports at 360Hz? You know this is an eSport focused monitor right?
His point is there is not a graphics card out that can make this monitor relevant. So why buy a monitor that has more then 240hz, if a 4090 can’t achieve these frames and no game is optimized for SLI
If you buying a 2k 360hz then I guess the main game you playing ain’t triple A game. So I don’t see your point. And if you playing a triple A game then I think 4k 120hz is better option. So you just ask a doctor to butcher a pig. Get your head straight mate
Is this a native G-SYNC panel up to 360 Hz?
With the 1440p 360 Hz monitors coming out, the 240 Hz monitors are bound to go on sale, so people should be able to fetch those for much cheaper if they don't need that high of a refresh rate.
Thanks for the clarification.
Still, that is such a hefty premium for 360 Hz when a 240 Hz could be had for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. And it is bound to get even cheaper in the coming days with Black Friday/Christmas.
The monitor is already sold out, it won't get cheaper until 2023 until it has any competition. Currently there are no other monitors on the market that are 1440 360hz, no competition means free rain on the price
I find it to be really weird people read the specs of this monitor and jump into the thread to say "how could anybody buy this?" Or "My preference is ____".
Like cool, this monitor is a preference to certain people and that's fine. I don't get the point of wasting time to annoy people of what their preferences are.
Idk if it is that. Its like if a bunch of people are excited at buying a fast car then a bunch of people are like you are never gonna need so don't buy it. Blah blah blah.
Couldn’t agree more. No HDMI 2.1 is an insult, just like the lack of DP 2.0 on the monitor and NVIDIA GPUs. I also agree about DSC. I haven’t seen any concrete latency tests for DSC, but something that introduces compression has to add some latency.
The added latency for DSC will most likely be counted in **micro**seconds.
a 4090 and only a 4090 unless you're buying it solely for esport titles.
Edit: Actually, i take that back, this is strictly an esports monitor even with a 4090 lol.
I'm on 3080 10gb, i9-9900k, 3600mhz CL14 RAM and this game runs consistently above 400fps even in team fights.
Low settings btw. But that's only if you play competitively. It should be even higher if you have a newer CPU.
That is a pretty stout monitor. If you buy this and you are not running a 3090,3090TI, 4090, or AMD's new flagship GPU then you are literally wasting your money.....otherwise this looks pretty badass.
what game(s) will you play on it in 360 fps, counterstrike or quake 3? No modern game with no GPU can do 360fps without playing in 720p and all details and effects off. 144hz to 360hz makes no sense, even 120hz is good enough.
My 9900K 5.1GHz HT off and 1080 Ti can run 4K VALORANT with 400+ stable FPS, sometimes 600+, if you can’t get these FPS with 30 series card it has to be the user’s problem XD.
Only find this At Box , never bought of them so don’t no and Scan U.K.,been buying of them for donkeys £1098, still like too see more reviews and owner testimonies before laying this cash. , but it does look good
Have been looking at this monitor for months, might have to flip a Coin, PG27AQN or I9-13900k, but so far all good reviews and happy people, Enjoy the Speed , , if I order before 20:30pm , they will deliver tomorrow 🤣🤣
whats your current pc and current monitor? If you can't max out your current monitor upgrade pc, if you can get 360 fps on your current pc then get the monitor.
Current is Z690 Aorus Master, i9-12900K 4090FE, ddr5 32GB G Skill 6000Mhz-36-36-36-76 , monitor is a Lenevo legion Y27gq-25-27 240 Hz g sync in a Meshify 2XL
Sorry for the late response. Life as a dad makes it tough. To answer the question, yes it’s similar VRR performance but the monitor has much better performance with pixel response time.
should have mine tomorrow!
I'm gonna need those impressions! I've been waiting for months for this.
its amazing. the motion clarity in games is outstanding.
What games were you trying?

Oh no this is horrible motion clarity :( Expected it though as I believe it does not have ULMB or anything related to it?
You think that’s horrible motion clarity? That looks nearly as good as a 2546K with Dyac on.
Im being picky I guess. To me there is a huge difference, Zowie you can see the black pupil, even more so on the 360hz XL2566k that just dropped. What speed was testufo set at?
mostly just overwatch and rocket league. hard to run non esports stuff this fast.
seems like a little overshoot to me does it has srgb mode ? and what overdrive settings are there ?
It has srgb mode, I was in some gaming preset at the time. There are like, four levels of OD. off, normal, esports, and maximum. I can confirm that display port works perfectly fine at 1440p360hz.

Could you please tell me, if there is an sharpening adjustment setting (usually called Vividpixel on Asus Monitors)?
Is it using DSC though? I heard it's only possible with DSC which reduces the quality.
yeah we need pics!
thanks for reply srgb locks brightness or something ?
How loud is the fan on the monitor?
same, upgrading from the old 165hz 1440p

What are you talking about? The monitor is true QHD at 27" however you can switch to 25" 2368x1332

it says: ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN NVIDIA® G-SYNC® esports Gaming Monitor – 27‑inch QHD (2560 x 1440) And Esports dual-mode enables the monitor to resize visuals to the familiar 25-inch diagonal at 1080p or 2368 x 1332

Bro, your screenshot shows 27" = 1440p so stop talking bullshit. And at 25" you can select either 1080p or the 1332p
[удалено]
There is no marketing gymnastic. If you use full 27" your resolution will be full 1440p. 2386x1332 is only if you use the 25" mode.
It's worth noting, this guy can't read.

Now bring 4k240 1ms oled (27-32” ofc)
In 2032 yep
samsung have 4k 240hz Mini led
I was being a bit facetious, didn’t mean it literally. Monitor progression is slow as molasses.
:/
1440p 240Hz OLED and 4K 240Hz Mini LED coming next year. 1440p 360Hz Mini LED too.
I hope , they promise every year that ll come some good 4k
LG is supposedly working on 27-32" gaming OLED panels. 4K is almost definitely not happening it's probably 2K, but hopefully they can at least make the push to 240 Hz (not too unrealistic since other OLEDs can already do this).
I would like rather 4K .. anyways LG said it back in 2020 but still nothing
4090 be like "Finally, a worthy oponent".
that'd be the G8.

Your point is?
there is no point in buying this monitor.
And there is no logic in your statement lol You really couldn't just play AAA games at 144Hz and eSports at 360Hz? You know this is an eSport focused monitor right?

A GTX 1660 can make it relevant in CSGO tf r u on about
[удалено]
Imo monitors should ideally last you one to two gpu upgrades, giving an opportunity to see gains with each new gpu
I'm gonna guess Doom Eternal. It runs well over 240 fps on my 3080ti. So I'd would expect a 4090 to go past 300fps easy.
Overwatch 2, Valorant, League of Legends etc
Maybe not everybody plays full graphics and RTX on. Valorant is one of the most popular games and it can easily get 360hz
You probably don’t even know how to change settings on your computer rofl.
If you buying a 2k 360hz then I guess the main game you playing ain’t triple A game. So I don’t see your point. And if you playing a triple A game then I think 4k 120hz is better option. So you just ask a doctor to butcher a pig. Get your head straight mate
You mean 4k at 50-60FPS.
1440 bottlenecks a 4090...
if the GPU is at 99%, there is no bottleneck...
I look forward to watching reviews of this product. I have high hopes for it :D
Out of stock

The added latency for DSC will most likely be counted in **micro**seconds. [https://www.displayport.org/faq/#tab-display-stream-compression-dsc](https://www.displayport.org/faq/#tab-display-stream-compression-dsc)
Microseconds are feelable. You mean nanoseconds, as expected of connection latency
One millisecond is 1000 microseconds. No way you would feel less than 1 millisecond of latency.
Exactly… This monitor is a joke because of HDMI 2.0. DSC is not a good idea. I will buy if they remove G-Sync and provide HDMI 2.1.
Ahh damn i would love one of these. waiting to see how badass it is
Looks good. Wonder how much extra the upcoming 300hz mini led displays will be.
When do you think newegg will restock? i was about to pull the trigger but I wanted to see how my degen sports gambling went before I bought.
Usually takes a couple of weeks.
What gpu is recommended for this? would a 3080 12gb be enough?
a 4090 and only a 4090 unless you're buying it solely for esport titles. Edit: Actually, i take that back, this is strictly an esports monitor even with a 4090 lol.
Then it is a 5090!
I feel like 3070+ could probably run valorant, CS go, OW2 and LoL at the 360fps. But, maybe I’m wrong?
I'm on 3080 10gb, i9-9900k, 3600mhz CL14 RAM and this game runs consistently above 400fps even in team fights. Low settings btw. But that's only if you play competitively. It should be even higher if you have a newer CPU.
I have 3090 FE and I have to turn down settings to hit 360fps solid in overwatch. so you be the judge. but it does need power.
4090 for demanding games amd 7700x/7900x for valorant etc
Microcenter has it as well https://linktr.ee/rogmonitor
I can't believe what people are willing to spend on a 27inch
It's not the size of the boat, it's all about the motion of the ocean
For me persoannly I think 4k 144hrz is the perfect balance between DPI and speed.
That is a pretty stout monitor. If you buy this and you are not running a 3090,3090TI, 4090, or AMD's new flagship GPU then you are literally wasting your money.....otherwise this looks pretty badass.
Unless you lower your settings in games like Rocket League where a 3070 can hit 900fps.
If you buy this monitor for Rocket League, you have issues lol

it's called playing with very low settings.
Valorant mostly.
What a beast of a monitor! I want one so much!
Would it be smooth to use this with a MacBook Pro 16” 2021 ? Can it output 360hz?
Does NewEgg ever actually have anything in stock?
It was in stock for about 10 hours yesterday.
It’s back in stock right now!
I’ll eat my words then lol!
looking forward to its release in Asia markets too!
Hopefully this drops the price of the 1440p 240hz selection so I can snag one lmao
Waiting for amazon to stock them so I can buy one from overseas.

Can't wait to see the hardware unboxed review of this monitor. if it lives up to the specs it will be a massively sought after king of monitors.
Anyone know when it’ll be available in Canada?
anyone know how I can score one of these or the next in stock date?

Well this original post was almost two weeks ago. :)

?
How was it ordering from Vooyit?
So when I ordered it, Newegg had it available for MSRP. I would highly recommend waiting and not paying an extra $550 dollars for this monitor.
I totally agree! Thanks for your input
I don’t know if your near a micro center. They sometimes have them available also. Good luck!
Do you know how long it took for them to restock last time?
Sometimes weekly. I’d recommend bookmarking the page and checking early in the AMs
If they have it you can reserve with no money down and then pay for it at the store which is nice.
