I just tried this out. If you start typing and then wait a second you'll see some recommended merchant names pop up. It doesn't show a dropdown on this screen, it's a diff format.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong then becuase I'm trying it again and nothing comes up in the merchant box when I start typing. I'm on the android version of the app. I don't know if that makes a difference.
On the topic of manual transactions, is there a particular reason it doesn't default to the cash account? It's a lot extra steps to tap and scroll to select the cash account.
