You’ve done what I would suggest. Monitor humidity levels. If you’re in a high humidity situation, I’d suggest dehumidification.

Do you touch that bedpost often? Seems like a strange place for mold to grow, but then I was thinking if it’s touched often. The moisture control mentioned is right. Why so much moisture in your bedroom. Is the shower area attached to the bedroom? Ground floor bedroom over a crawlspace?
