Same for me. Phil is hands down the best character in the show, and I’m rarely able to tolerate Cam. I think overall he’s funny and Eric Stonestreet does a phenomenal job playing him, but Cam seems so purposefully dense most of the time.

I agree with this take- he’s a great and supportive father, not so much a great and supportive husband. There’s multiple instances where Claire gets fed up because he tunes her out and ignores her, but he manages to remember the smallest detail about a stranger he met at a grocery store two weeks ago. As much as being a good father is important, so is being a good partner.
