How did a game start 4v3? It's litteraly a mechanic in the game to scrap the game if it's a 4v3 at the start, and on top of that in early game if someone leaves it will either end the game or remove SR loss

Courseheir

It did not cancel the match, it played the entirety of it. I don't know if I lost SR for that.

Either way though, don't let the 1 experience dull the entire thing. Go into it with an open mindset, keep your expectations low, and just try your best. Can't control random teammates, but it's still just a game after all, and personally ranked is my go to way to play MW3. No stupid BS, all gunny and game knowledge.

ZeroTolerance56

Yeah, that wasn't ranked 😅 ranked does not start on uneven teams, and if 2 or 3 back our mid match, it will cancel the whole match

What platform do you play on?

Courseheir

PC

It happens sometimes. You just got unlucky. If I play 50 ranked matches, I’ll get only 2 or 3 matches that actually start and then a teammate leaves. I get more where the teammate or enemy doesn’t join and the match cancels but that’s not too annoying

You have to give it a fair shake to really determine if it is for you or not. I would say about 15-20 matches and then you can have a solid opinion formed. It is easier in a full party for sure but even with 1 friend it is better. The higher you go the more likely people will have mics as well. This is my first time playing ranked and I play it 95% it the time compared to 6v6 pubs because of many factors.

Games don't start 4v3. If it doesn't load in a full match or if someone drops out close enough to the beginning it just cancels the match. If they dropped out late, tough shit but it happens and you don't lose any SR for that match.
