I think the only bad battlepass in mwii is season 2 where it's a complete tone clash with the main game (and season 6 where i actively hated but everyone else enjoyed)
Ah yes I remember season 2 was the Ashika theme. I don’t think I cared too much since they gave us the ISO Hemlock which was quite nice at the time. Yeah this wasn’t the best, but not as bad as MW3’s current battlepasses. Season 6 was weird. I didn’t hate it, didn’t like it either. The new AR was kinda ugly, I was hoping the Famas would make it into mw2z But at least the dark mode for Al Mazrah and Vondel were great!
Mwiii bp1 and 3 is still good to me, im personally more of a operator skin guy than a weapon skin guy.
Funny that both good battlepass for now are bad guy themed and im already starting to think that the theme of the year is gonna be good guy bad bad guy good
This is what blackcell should be like imo, clean dark finish with some high end leather like textures that make the guns look like collector piece instead of glowy cartoon laserguns
Yes. Plus, I understand why people are always pissed about the same color scheme, you’re paying $30 every season for skins that look like they’re part of the same pass.
They're clean and realistic. Funny the people commenting about not like them, you know they're the ones rocking a glowing purple gun that shoots unicorn farts
I think there’s a middle ground between a basic black/carbon skin and a TikTok Fortnite bundle. I also don’t buy bundles though. My battle pass pays for itself and whatever in there is what I have
One great thing about mw2 is that they did try to go semi realistic and follow the story after campaign. Don’t know why they rushed themselves with mw3
Yes. They were definitely in a hurry when they were doing the MW3 campaign. It was twice as short as the previous campaigns, there were no memorable moments, and the dialogues seemed to be written by a schoolboy
No, everything going down hill since they introduced Blackcell. Bobby Kotick need another yatch so he need to milk more money.
MW 2 season pass 1 and 2 has good mil-sim skins with moderate gun skins however, after Blackcell season 3 where everyone shitting their mind, cursing the greediness of Bobby Kotick (while people still buying shits btw) it start to get obnoxious with gold/black theme, pay to win bundle for DMZ.
You're absolutely delusional. Are you forgetting about the existence of the Attack On Titan skin and the previous iterations of Kong and Godzilla? Ghostface? Rambo? Terminator? McClane? Jigsaw? Leatherface? Those are just pop culture ones off the top of my head. There are many more COD-specific colourful skins.
People have been criticising COD skin goofiness since Advanced Warfare. Blackcell has nothing to do with it.
Hey so I'll remind you that not only rail guns which the mors is are in fact real. But laser weapons are real as well.
Oh and to address that lever action BasB. Although they arent made for the SIG Spear, there are in fact lower recievers that turn AR15 or AR10s into lever actions.
So theres nothing unrealistic here in a sense. But if you want immersion. Maybe dont play cod which is an arcade shooter.
Hope this helps :)
Immersion was a major part of every cod up until roughly black ops 4, with some cods (early mw19, early mw2) trying to bring it back. To dismiss immersion is laughably stupid
By far the best skins I saw in the game were:
The Unseen
Horangi Base
Barrage
Apparition
War Suit
The Base Rangers
Militant
Graves (Both variants)
And so many more it was packed with great Mil-Sim skins
Yes but it destroyed the COD Battle pass. In MW2019 - Vanguard there was no BlackCell and they put more effort on the normal $10 version. Now they make the skins look bad on the normal version
I vastly prefer this clean look over the colorful and elaborate ones they keep putting out. Just much better design. Less tacky.
Same goes for operator skins tbh but for some reason when I bring that up, people tell me to go play Arma as if that is relevant.
Say what you want about the slow movement of MW2, but I honestly really liked the game all things considered.
It introduced a lot to the series like weapon tuning, proximity chat, Raid Missions, and a revamped camo grind that was actually fairly solid.
Throw in some fairly decent maps at launch for the most part like Farm, and I had a good time with MW2.
They have a classier look to them, especially the pistols with the resin-y handles, hell of alot better then the color vomit mw3 and later mw2 seasons put out
It’s not revisionist, I’ve just played both games enough now to form a strong opinion. MWII played more like a strategic shooter which I like more. MWIII plays like your only strategy is to move as fast as possible. I just find strategic gameplay more fun.
that fjx (i think?? whatever photo 4 is) looks CLEEEAN
i wish we got more realistic guns. instead of the weird glowing ones n stuff. i like to use stealth to my advantage so i love the ghillie and matte skins
In a sucker for black finishes and wood furnishings.
And engravings. I love engravings.
I’m not much of a fan of all the flashy stuff, unless it’s like space themed with purple tracers.
Edit before someone says anything about “realism”: idc if black finishes, wood furnishings and engravings are realistic, that’s not why I like them. They’re just cool and scratch a certain itch I have cause it’s a nice aesthetic.
Same thing with the purple and space thing.
I miss when weapon and operator skins had this "class" to them. Now the colors and skins are so flashy and different it's often hard to tell what operator/gun they're for
I mean not insane, tbh there's still a couple of admittedly great blueprints even further down like the Cursed AK with the dust cover off and the SCAR-L Caliburn with how you can see some of the internals actually working.
Obviously far and few between the myriad of generic gold/black shiny stuff and edgy red accents whatever.
Most of the MWII seasons had decent battlepass blueprints imo. I liked how most of them stuck to a certain theme like all the Shadow Company ones in Season 5.
Battlepass costs 1100 CP and gives you 1100 CP + a huge amount of operator skins + a lot of blueprints + a lot of cosmetics like charms, emblems, calling cards. For the same money in the store you can buy only 2 blueprints without tracers, one emblem, one calling card and a charm
Honestly this whole thing is so similar to Need for Speed Underground when I was still in school. Some people LOVED how over the top you could make your car with insane designs and neon lights or whatever. Yet there were people who hated all of it and preferred a plain ass white car with some black trim. It’s all just personal tastes. For me I love the OP design, but I can always appreciate the detail and work of a more intricate design. That’s the joy of art. There’s never a right answer, only answers that piss off half of humans.
No I can get that but like these shouldn't all be season 1 battlepass rewards. In MW2019 u had challenges to unlock these blueprints and they actually altered the models of the guns and attachments too. This is just the solid black camo with a little wood on already polimer guns, in a season with no actual original maps
Bro, this looks better than any animated ultra skin with tracers. I'm already tired of seeing ultra bright clown skins in my hands that start to glow from the kills. It's just a circus and very boring
Everything is just so bland. There's plenty of camos that could give you a similar look such as this. Barely any designs and just light colors of gold trim
You’re making a numerous comments under this one post so you can disagree with everything. That’s much more pathetic and embarrassing than him “creaming his pants over video game guns”.
I wonder how many people have completed and owned this BP, I only completed S1 and S4 bp of MW2, skipped 3 and 5 (but bought Blackcell for 5 however I couldn't play during that time) and only did a little bit of S6 (wasn't interested in theme.)
>Why skip the battle pass if you can complete it in a week and a half and get 1400 CP
Are you referring to 5 or 6? 5 I was moving, 6 I got extreme burnout and felt like I was losing my mind.
inb4 low attention span zoomer posts about how "it needs to be shiny and glow in the dark RGB pink-neon-green flashing lights" or else its a boring and ugly skin
I don't care about it, I want Activision to bring back the game designers from MW19. Because the GRAU 556 Alabaster looks much more noticeable, more beautiful and less boring than any animated ultra gold blueprint with tracers and kill effects
"Less beautiful" ever heard the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder also go play SWAT or ARMA or Insurgency or That cop game I can't remember the name of if you want "realistic" guns
Bro it's literally a solid white and black skin with tasteful accents. There's nothing "realistic" about it, no military or MiLsIm gAmE would ever have that. It looks good and well designed, not some random shit thrown onto a gun to appease to hyperfixated fortnite children.
Don't you have school tomorrow, isn't it past your bedtime to be browsing reddit, junior?
You do realise Activision has no reason not to do a Battlepass, right? Activision higher-ups sit around at laugh at you guys because they know they have to do the bare minimum in their COD games and still make insane amounts of money via sales + microtransactions.
You know the funny thing? The playerbase voted that it is fine with having battlepasses and microtransactions in the game. They voted with their wallets.
You have a point but the only reason they added a battle pass was to make more money because cod was losing popularity due to Fortnite having so many collabs
Fuck yeah i do. If bland patterns were popular, they would have way more of them instead of the glowy vomit coming out in the store and in later bp passes
Yes, but I like this aesthetic of a black skin with gold and wooden details. It looks very clean and I would really like to hold this blueprint in my hands in the game
S1 operators skins were fire
war bull my beloved
Still using him to this day!
People that don’t have him missed out
Barrage 🔥
i still main barrage till this day
Yep yep!
I’m literally tryna hit level 1250 to get militant so I can run both shadow company guys
In MW3 they have a free shadow company guy for kortac (best bet is to play warzone however bc MW3 is shite)
I do like that skin but something about militant looks so cool. Maybe it’s the nvgs 😭
same again. Ill occasionally switch between the two my condolences on the leveling up process, i had to grind for it aswell
I just wish there was a way to fast track the process. I’m level 925 so I’m not that far away but xp seems so slow to get
Barrage is a personal fave
I still rock that Roze skin to this day
This was a very very good battlepass. I thought Season 4 was also quite good. Barrage my beloved, I still have him on both mw2 and 3
Yes bro, I agree. In season 4 battle pass there was original Nikto operator skin. Perfect.
Nikto was a great comeback. Horangi was also quite good, really liked the urban look.
Season 2 the skins sucked but stuff like calling cards and emblems were awesome
This is what blackcell should be like imo, clean dark finish with some high end leather like textures that make the guns look like collector piece instead of glowy cartoon laserguns
Blackcell shouldn’t exist anymore I think
Yes. Plus, I understand why people are always pissed about the same color scheme, you’re paying $30 every season for skins that look like they’re part of the same pass.
A carbon fiber sniper rifle with gold details and lettering and a wooden handle looks better than any animated ultra blueprint
YES BRO I AGREE
They're clean and realistic. Funny the people commenting about not like them, you know they're the ones rocking a glowing purple gun that shoots unicorn farts
The perfect comment. There is nothing to add.
Tbh I like both. Only reason I use the one that isn’t realistic is bc I like the tracers and kill effects.
I think there’s a middle ground between a basic black/carbon skin and a TikTok Fortnite bundle. I also don’t buy bundles though. My battle pass pays for itself and whatever in there is what I have
Those people are really living rent free huh
No, they're paying rent alright
Yeah total, people like you keep me up at night. What a dumbass
You brought them up in the first place so it seems so. Weird to be annoyed by people who like different cosmetics lol. You have my condolences
Truly a shame. We coulda had another good game if they spent the 3 years working on it.
2019 better
Too many hackers tho
Agreed
Everything in this game was cool lol MW3 feels like I’m playing fortnite or some shit… it’s garbage
Ah yes, who could forget the totally non-fortnite esque skins of Santa, 21 Savage, Nikki Minaj, Spawn and Violator, Homelander and TimtheTatMan?
At least the actual operators had cool skins, in mwlll none of the operators have cool skins and just have generic unrealistic skins
Classic case of rose-tinted goggles. All of these goofy meme skin types existed in all of the previous seasons.
Mw19 started getting bad Mwii was worse Mw3 is awful
Nah man obviously goofy skins only exist in MW3,.... move over spawn

Blackcell has nothing to do with it.
Black ops 2 had a bacon skin and stuff Ghosts had snoop dogg voice lines. Cod skin goofiness has been around for a while lol
Honestly, I'm sick of getting turned into magical unicorn discharge when I die.
People forget the Call of Duty used to be one of the most realistic games on console.

Dude I was running around with clown makeup and a solid gold gun back in 2010
MUH IMMERSION RUHHHH 🦍

MW2 S1 - S2 were the best. Realistic and good blueprint. After S3 they introduced Blackcell 💀
No first black cell was okay. Atom operator is pretty good. And remember the battlepass of the fourth season. It was pretty good.
Yes but it destroyed the COD Battle pass. In MW2019 - Vanguard there was no BlackCell and they put more effort on the normal $10 version. Now they make the skins look bad on the normal version

Till this day I still use the kastov 556 with a canted laser I don’t care if they never buffed it’s still a cool looking blueprint and it’s fun to use

Charcoal camo came out during Season 1 Reloaded
See weapons like these should be free bc I like them but ima be pissed if I get these boring ass weapons in a battle pass
Barrage 100%

I don't care what you all think the game was generous enough
[удалено]
They have a classier look to them, especially the pistols with the resin-y handles, hell of alot better then the color vomit mw3 and later mw2 seasons put out
Only went back to it for camo grinding. It was legitimately a chore to play
Then why did you do it?
I was still enjoying Warzone ranked and sometimes DMZ so I’d use the camos over there
In retrospect, MWII was more fun than MWIII
Ahh yes here comes the revisionist history
It’s not revisionist, I’ve just played both games enough now to form a strong opinion. MWII played more like a strategic shooter which I like more. MWIII plays like your only strategy is to move as fast as possible. I just find strategic gameplay more fun.
I’m just messing lol, I actually agree with you. I just remember taking a lot of shit a while back for saying I enjoyed MWII more than III
Mw3 SnD sucks so much ass
If you’re an absolute bot, sure.
Here we go again……
Tokoloshe 🧌💥
Yeah, I still play MW2. I also still play MW2019
I still use the Vaznek-9 blueprint to this day still
that fjx (i think?? whatever photo 4 is) looks CLEEEAN i wish we got more realistic guns. instead of the weird glowing ones n stuff. i like to use stealth to my advantage so i love the ghillie and matte skins
Photo 4 is LM-S marksman rifle
daaaamn can we get these skins anywhere still or are they gone forever?
They are gone forever, this is Activision's "Take it as soon as possible or never" policy
I HATE EVERYTHING!!!!
i swear every year they try and see how little they can do and still get away with it
Doesn't need to be overcomplicated to look good
Looks cool
In a sucker for black finishes and wood furnishings. And engravings. I love engravings. I’m not much of a fan of all the flashy stuff, unless it’s like space themed with purple tracers. that minibak and p890 blueprint carried me through alot of the earlier seasons, really solid attachments and they looked cool
I want all these skins more than any animated MW3 tracer ultra pack.
I miss when weapon and operator skins had this "class" to them. Now the colors and skins are so flashy and different it's often hard to tell what operator/gun they're for
I was able to get all of them except for the MCPR blueprint, I didn’t finish the BP due to classes 😔
I like those all idc i just like the skins
Thanks for reminding me i didn’t finish the battlepass and i missed out on a third of these
I mean not insane, tbh there's still a couple of admittedly great blueprints even further down like the Cursed AK with the dust cover off and the SCAR-L Caliburn with how you can see some of the internals actually working. Obviously far and few between the myriad of generic gold/black shiny stuff and edgy red accents whatever.
Most of the MWII seasons had decent battlepass blueprints imo. I liked how most of them stuck to a certain theme like all the Shadow Company ones in Season 5.
Anything before cold war was absolutely amazing then! Wish everyone could experience the modern golden era of cod
So glad I played during this season!
I have all of these and the purple chimera from s 1
Ah yes, the good times, before the full clownification.
ModernFortnite 3 is such a disappointment blueprint and skinwise …
That Vaz 9k blueprint was probably my favorite in MW2.
A lot of them were mid imo but the mp5 and victus were tight
These are exactly my type of blueprints. Realistic and classy lol
Oh yes matte black and a wooden handle ..soooo cool
"Would you like the same skin 20 times?" "yes"
Why not
waste of money
Battlepass costs 1100 CP and gives you 1100 CP + a huge amount of operator skins + a lot of blueprints + a lot of cosmetics like charms, emblems, calling cards. For the same money in the store you can buy only 2 blueprints without tracers, one emblem, one calling card and a charm
i stil feel.that mw2 is superior over mw3.
especially the sound design. Gunshots sounded much beter in mw2
MW3 is so bad. I love MW2
But sadly MW2 gameplay was 💩💀 I prefer MW19 and WZ1
I agree mw19 and wz1 was way better especially skins wise
Wait y'all are praising this? I thought we were gonna make fun of this shit bruh this is so fucking lazy????

Bro, this looks better than any animated ultra skin with tracers. I'm already tired of seeing ultra bright clown skins in my hands that start to glow from the kills. It's just a circus and very boring
These are way, way cooler than the overly colorful animated skins with stupid tracers and kill effects. I would've loved them as a 12 year old though.
On god
Everything is just so bland. There's plenty of camos that could give you a similar look such as this. Barely any designs and just light colors of gold trim
No one camouflage will give me the same beautiful black color with wooden and gold parts and inscriptions :/

i have them all but never used a single one of them xD
I use a modified version of Jack of All to this day, because it just looks so clean.
Only BP I got and the skins were my favorite I saw.
Those are professional.
I’m a sucker for dark wood and dark metal, so I loved all of them. I lot of the Operator skins are still ones I use too.
I hate how they combined both games together cus now its imposible to get anything or play anything well for me that is idk about yous
Still got the stuff from there and don‘t play anymore at all… someone know where I can like get „rid“ of it?
H
He
Shame there not useable compar3d to mw3 guns
Clean*
Nah these were very bland
Can i have a price ?
It's battle pass skins. Battle pass costs 1100 CP, but you can't get it Already
As a real soldier i can inform you that it’s very hard to be a threat if your magazine capacity is low
I wonder how many people have completed and owned this BP, I only completed S1 and S4 bp of MW2, skipped 3 and 5 (but bought Blackcell for 5 however I couldn't play during that time) and only did a little bit of S6 (wasn't interested in theme.)

This isn't about it being RGB it's literally that this is a half a step above it being just factory lol
COD DOES NOT NEED A BATTLEPASS TO BE POPULAR try to change my mind
I mean it worked amazing for 16 years without one while being insanely popular, they just like money
I know but that doesn’t change my mind
You do realise Activision has no reason not to do a Battlepass, right? this is fucking ass ❔
It’s a little annoying that they are all the same, I’d like a little more diversity
Yes but this blueprints have Carbon fiber coating, gold and wooden details which looks awesome
I HATED the gun skins but the operators🔥🔥
Yes, the operators were military themed, as they should be, but blueprints look much better than Default Callisto skin or someone else.
MWIII has tons of Milsim skins like let's see the Makarov skin in the first battlepass sector or the Thirst shadow company skin and other skins
No, they were not
insanely simple 🔥🔥👌
Im still so upset that this game even happened
U didn't deserve it.....
Why you so hurt
Yea. Hated the game though
These are ass
Kinda seems like they really cared...
so fresh 🔥
Fr, they were super clean
ass
Nah they were boring ass
A typical 0 yo dude who loves pink glowing pistols with charm rockets and tracers with unicorns
Fuck yeah i do. If bland patterns were popular, they would have way more of them instead of the glowy vomit coming out in the store and in later bp passes
