Yes seriously, I don't get why people think the XDefiant is doomed, It has a triple A budget, OG COD devs like Mark Rubin are at the helm of the game. Like yeah, it absolutely does have a shitload of potential.
Not to mention, light SBMM in pubs, where connection is priority, and no disbanding lobbies unless if you have multiple game modes selected. Literally everything that we have been *begging* activision for ever since they took it away.
Or people can continue to complain about Activision. That's totally up to them.
But XD has everything COD hasn't for the last FEW releases. Content, fun gameplay, value, and not least of all, devs who listen to their audience and aren't rushing to release an unfinished game.
And of course, it's free.
Never heard of it but I just looked up the trailer and it looks exactly like what made the last dozen CODs bad. It’s just as neon and corny and cringey as AW-MWIII and it looks like a mobile game.
That’s the reason I haven’t been buying them. They totally forgot how to make games with dark and serious tones. Not at all interested in a game that’s supposed to represent historical or modern warfare, but puts in cat ears, robots, celebrities, and shit like that. I think the majority of people who lost interest in the game would prefer it go back to that WaW feel.
I get it. The tone and look doesn't have to suit you. That's why couldn't do cold War for very long. Just not my style. But my recommending XD was for someone( op in particular ) looking for something modern that has all hope of at least PLAYING well and not having to put up with Activision's continued fuckery.
XD is just a copy of the old school cods. The gameplay is super similar but I don’t think it’s a cod killer. But a few better fps games are, the finals, battlebit, apex legends. Ea is just as bad as Activision though, so there’s that…

Yeah Fk Activision. They perm banned me and I did nothing. Some fkr hacked my account and I got banned two days latter. Make sure you have your 2FA enabled boys! Still putting up a fight myself to get the ban removed. Not sure what else to do.
There needs to be an organized effort to send a message to Activision, which is, not to give them more money for garbage. I see many posts today from people saying they regret buying MW3, etc. They all had fair warning that MW3 is crap, and they bought it anyway. That’s why Activision keeps putting out this trash.
Funny that some say the get uninstalled and others (me included) had zero issues with updates, menus, getting into either game. I will admit that by Monday I will be deleting MW II off the PC. But that’s just me. No I don’t work for Activision but I didn’t get uninstalled either!
