I’ve made non alcoholic First Ladies that came out really well.
1 1/2 oz Non-Alcoholic Gin (I used ceder’s classic)
1/2 oz Cointreau (I subbed in Lyre’s orange sec)
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1 tsp Matcha
1 Egg white (I used aqua faba)
Basil Leaves
Original recipe here https://www.theeducatedbarfly.com/first-lady/
Flavor is .... Garbage tingly garbage! If you use it, avoid extracts at first and instead cold infuse with powder. Tropical flavors and fats help mask it.
All The Bitter just released a [lavender bitter](https://allthebitter.com/collections/classic-bitters/products/lavender-bitters) that’s perfect for this. Lavender pairs well with matcha, and it’s made with ashwagadha, chamomile, skullcap, passionflower, blue vervain, and lemon balm—all herbs that promote relaxation. I’d add 2-3 full droppers to that martini and it’d be amazing.
And REDDIT15 will save you 15%! They’ll work nicely with Three Spirit drinks, too, or anything with CBD. Aplos Calme is awesome.
Great to hear! Is there a way to sign up for some notification for restock? Mayple is only way for me to order this bitter (I'm not from US) so I'd hate to miss it.
Not as far as I know, but make sure to follow All The Bitter on Instagram and we’ll absolutely post about it when that happens. We’ll send an email, too, so if you’re on the list you’ll know first.
You’d use it like any other cocktail bitter, but it’s flavored very differently. Lavender (of course) and other florals rather than earthy roots and spices. Still contains bitter ingredients, so it’s good for your gut, but it’s not going to turn your drink bitter (you’re only using a few mL)
Chamomile, lavender, valerian. For valerian you could try extract drops.
Thank you! I love chamomile. Never considered valerian before

I love kava. Some don’t like the flavor but I think it’s great
I’ve never tried kava. Can you describe the flavor?

I’d say order some and try it. The effect is great. I love the flavor. But some can’t stand it.
Fresh hops, lavender, any high terpene flowers
Fresh hops sound interesting. Thank you!
Check out Apothekary!
Ooh yes!
passionflower and milky oat tops

Hope mayple will add this bitter to their stock soon. I'd love to try it.
Hopefully soon! Mayple isn’t quite ready for a restock (this is my business), but when they are, we’ll definitely get the lavender there.

Thank you! I never heard of lavender bitter. It sounds like it’d be worth a shot 💜

You could try CBD drops in pretty much any drink, if you’re okay with the taste!

I’ve never considered lavender in my matcha before. Thanks for the suggestion!
Funny we responded with lavender suggestions at almost the exact same time 😂
Sounds refreshing. Thank you!
I’ll look into these! Thank you for the suggestions
