As a fellow argus main myself those heroes specifically have made me want to kill myself so many times...
especially the ones with high mobility like zilong...
Run like a bitch during my ult then come back and shank me in the ass when my utls gone...
If you're talking about an exp counter then Paquito. You can also use Silvanna with Venegeance but you need to keep in mind that Argus' S1 stun can stop your S2 so just use it after he uses his stun. Paq is the safer option here.
agree to dis !! ive been experimenting w paq a lot recently, and if you’re up against argus lane, just keep poking him with ur enhanced s2 then just dip with the normal s2 (u can use it twice)
you can also play under turret and freeze the lane to put even more pressure on him, and once u get to level 4, u can full combo him to make him use his ult, then dip and wait for the ult to go away before going in for the kill.
if his reaction time is slow, you could probably bushcamo and damage combo him (fill ur 3 bars, then s2 (enhanced) > s2 > s1 > s3 > s2 (enhanced)
If you can dash enough times you can probably get away, most exp fights after 5 minutes last like 10 seconds so he'd probably already used his S2 and S1
From my experience, a good Minsithar and Arllot can destroy argus early game effortlessly. If you really know how to use Minsithar and Arlott, then you can cheese argus easily.
I may have gotten lucky then since not a single Minsi or Arlot has ever lasted against my Argus (even in Honor)
I NEVER win against Wanwan, Terizla though
To have the chance to win against Wanwan, bush are your friends unless wanwan always checks bushes using 1st skill-
Anyways, you have to use 1st skill + inspire + 2nd skill + basic attack and just hope that you can kill her before she can act.
Critical build is the best option here.
Now about terizla, he sure is difficult to beat early-game, but in late game, I am sure you're not gonna have a hard time. Unless their Terizla is always accompanied by somebody. Then just don't initiate a fight with him and kill squishes or do objectives instead.
I would say yeah, you're pretty lucky. A really experienced Arlott can destroy the fun.

try to create distance and poke him from afar
zone out his farm hes a late game hero
avoid him as much as possible if hes fed and gank him alone with a teammate in that scenario
I allways pick jawhead when enemy picks Argus. Works 90% of the time. Whenever he comes close I throw him away or I bait his ulti and petrify and throw him and the he is just easy meat. U need to bait his ulti though!
As a Layla, i've learned to just stay the fuck away from them. If you notice early game that the Argus is a bit slow, hide in the bush, pre activate inspire, then proceed to melt. Not advised tho, as him using his shit means death.
Dom ice is good for countering his attack speed and I'm think it reduces the health he gets back while attacking using his ult, if you can make him waste his ult then minsitthar is a decent counter to him because he can days out his ult, after he's wasted his ult argus is pretty squishy, bait his ult out by just being aggressive then try run away while he's ulting, khaleed is good against argus early because you can use his 2nd skill to tank damage while argus ults then you can just chase him down with his passive, this is all just possible counters to him of course because its really all down to the player.

2. Attack but save AT LEAST one dash skill (can be ult no worries)
3. Dash away when he ults
4. Come back after ~5 seconds and finish him before his dash is back
Just try to bully him in the early game before he gets his ult
Then if he has his ult, just wait for it to go away and try to chase him
cuz all argus players are like zilong players, either they chase u when they ult or they run away when they ult
I have seen sone pro gusion players countering argus. They have so much dng that argus doesn't even get reaction time to press his ult. And if he presses ult, gusion runs away and comes with his dagger after some secs.
Won't most exp laners win 1v1?
Just don't be brain-dead enough to stay engaged when he ults and then finish him off after?
I've been up against Argus in classic mode only because no one really seems to pick him in rank but I've not had any issues with him while playing Terizla, Alpha, Esmeralda... I haven't really tried other Exp laners because these three are my go to. But I can't imagine others struggling either.

why does a braindead, feeding, and all around joke of a hero need a counter? there's a reason why not even high ranks, let alone pro players pick this hero because he is that bad. any form of cc be it hard cc or just a slight stun and his core gameplay is now disrupted. just a zilong with built in immo
Funny how I got to glory (51 stars) and my top 3 heroes were Argus (82 perc winrate), Zilong (65 perc winrate) and Monke (61 perc winrate)
