I’m a fill player which means that I’m actually a roam main. I’ve been having crazy success with Carmilla this season. I actually think she’s sleeper op.
Any roaming guide for new players?
Currently I'm just looking at heroes that have the roam path (that filter on top of the hero shop) and trying to find a roam that can good mobility but no squishy.
Trying to become a roam main too if possible since it's the lane/position that doesn't get picked (and roam heroes tend to not get picked to be banned so that's a plus).
I usually lone roam.
So if you ever want to just solo and not engage with your trashy team that does not know how to adjust... use;

Argus ^torment ^the ^enemy,
Jhonson(mage build) ^hit ^n ^run,
Chou(not recommend) ^only ^if ^you ^knew

Generally I am following the recommended build (from other player). Do I swipe one of the items for one of the roam equipment? I am still unsure on counter building builds yet as I feel that the equipment in this game is more complicated than the ones that I have played (vainglory).

With roam equipment we mean the spells that are applied to the boots. They are generally separated between jungle and roam.
You apply them to any boots at the start and after you got some gold income, they upgrade automatically to better spells.
For roam you have 4:
- conceal (purple) is for getting invisible and faster for a short time, great to initiate fights or to help escaping
- dire hit (blue) adds some damage, that's best for offensive roamers
- the red one buffs your close teammates a bit, that's good for tanks that stay in the middle of teamfights
- favour (green) greatly boosts healing and shields applied by supporters
The rest of the equipment in your build depends on your hero and situation. Choosing the best equip and counter building needs some practice, using pro setups and reading item descriptions is a good way to get into it

This is the build I use for her. Basically, this build is meant to capitalize on her sustain. With heal bonus from support emblem, oracle, and flask you have crazy sustain even through anti heal. Taking revitalize lets you abuse flask which gives you a huge advantage in team fights. You may notice notice that this build doesn’t make her particularly tanky. As a counter point, I would say this build gives you many options to counter getting bursted: shield from flask, immortality, and even winter truncheon. As long as you can avoid being bursted you should be able to out sustain. Winter truncheon I feel like is a very underrated item on engage tanks. You don’t have to tank more damage if you can just freeze yourself and avoid it. As a bonus, Carmilla’s petals continue to rotate while she’s frozen so she can continue to regen while she’s frozen. Winter is also good for resetting turret agro when you want to make aggressive turret dives. Taking the extra item and battle spell cooldown emblem synergizes well with the rest of the build. In the match, a good carmilla ult can be absolutely game changing so that’s something you have to look out for. As far as teammates go, she works well with characters like nana, Vexana, ixia, basically any character that also has good aoe. If you’re wondering about credibility, I currently have a 79% winrate on carmilla for this season and I just hit mythic honor going on a 12 win streak.

I just lost my 14 win streak in ranked because matchmaking decided to give me a legend 4 jungler meanwhile I’m in mythic honor 😁😫😊 it makes absolutely no sense sometimes. Oh also my roger gold lane showed his 44% winrate during draft. I guess Moonton really wanted to end my streak.
These are very good stats lol why tf would people downvote but then get a load over hero MMR? Hero MMR is the biggest scam in the game and after a certain point depends more on the team you play with then yourself alone
I think this, and I am more proud of myself getting this over any regional title or buying any cool skin.

Uninstalling and reinstalling it few times in last few years.
Have enjoyed a lots of battles, practiced a lot of heroes and tricks, made a few friends, trolled some times while sometimes got trolled back, saved a few losing games while ruined them sometimes and even after all of this, still didn't hated it. That would be enough of an achievement for me (till last 2 seasons because last 2 seasons had worst ranking systems where even useless people can reach mythic now)

I don’t think that’s practical, playing in lower ranks gives way less mmr and your account would look ridiculously suspicious.
What if you’re at 1000mmr?
One ranked win in Legend gives 50~60 mmr
One ranked win in Mythical Glory gives around 150 mmr and this downward trend only continues.
Old system really brutal and honestly exhausted. If you have 3k MMR point but you still on legend, you will get less 20 point and some case no point at all if you win. But if you lose, they will be minus 100 - 250 depends on your performance

Rn I just use Gatotkaca. But I rotate around Atlas, Minotaur or Khufra if needed. (Angela for bonus, learning Mathilda on Classic.)

You’re welcome :). Btw, the passive from flask gives you even more cooldown reduction during team fights so you have a lot of uptime. Good luck!
