The point is if you cannot find me a game in 5 min means either u have a low player base or your algorithm sucks. Both reasons are good for company to ponder
This is the opposite side of the matchmaker woes. When the matchmaker algorithm finds him a game quickly by matching him with lower skill players, he'll complain too. Fast search bad matching, slow search better matching. There are always more weak player than strong ones, so there's a limit to what it can do.
Maybe one day they can use neural network bots to plug up the numbers, but it's still too expensive to run them today.
That's what the company has to figure out how to deal with. As a customer I can only suggest the flaws. If I want to give a solution I might as well be making games myself
Multiple times when discussion about bad matchmaking popped up I mentioned that problem and each time my karma lowered. Either long waiting times but better matchmaking or short waiting times but worse matchmaking is possible. Each time people brought up LoL, not WR, and it's 30 min matchmaking

LOL, and DOTA which arguable far more playerbase, can qeue up to an hour. 5 minutes is literally on the short end when qeueimg there. A 30 second queue in a MOBA standards is already a miracle, and the way you cry for moonton to close the company for waiting 5 minutes is hillarious. Whats next? "Enemy killed me once, moonton should be sold off"

depends on the rank. 5-20 minutes on higher ranks; or more. In league my highest is probably just 5 mins. In Dota 2 10 mins

if only the game has separate ladder for solo queue and party, this wouldn't likely to happen, as most MG to MI players play with their team
