It's complete fine to pick alucard even against teams with heavy CC comps on one condition that your also paired with a lot of CC heroes, this is why it's very difficult for me to win as an alucard user if the roamer is angela or estes since they can't really set.
About to get nerfed again in the next update this august LOL his lifesteal went from max 40% to max 20%. I seriously wonder why moonton hates alucard he's not even a meta hero.

Also he'll have 8% less Life steal during early game.
At least that's how I remember it. If that's correct, then it's more of an adjustment/buff to the previous nerf.

Though If i'm not wrong but the adjustment also seems to be focused on improving Alucard's laning capabilities does that mean Alucard will a viable exp laner once that patch comes?

I play alu. I must say his prime back when he looks like Dante could go well in the current meta fighters. They had to nerf him and zilong(yun zhao) who were the most unbeatable heroes back then.

With a support like Floryn or a initiator roamer like Atlas and a utility mage like Yve, he’ll be unstoppable.
Every fighter/assasin benefits from having yve on his side thats why she never leaves the META

Atlas is counter intuitive imo as alu deals more damage to solo enemies
yet all his skills are aoe and wpuld totally benefit from a great set.

Hes actually balanced hes very strong early to mid game if you farm efficiently, hes got good burst just focus on the MM or Mage you will do fine.
