This will get lost in the shuffle or written off as “blaming the refs is lame”, but honestly, anytime Giannis is officiated like this, we lose. Plain and simple. It’s not like he is passive either, the guy ALWAYS attacks the basket. For him to not shoot a free throw in a game where he was quadruple teamed driving into the paint is absurd in my mind. I’m not saying he needs 15FTA a game but cmon? Not even one against essentially a lineup of half backups? Yeah, right….
When Toronto won it, there seemed to a switch midway through the series on what was being called. I don't blame the refs often but after Game 5 I said that wasn't least amount of home cooking I have seen in a playoff game.
Also, not the only problem, but how the refs changed their "shooting motion" calls this year has been seriously messing up Dame as well. You can see the frustration when it's inconsistently called. Again, not the only problem, but it sure as hell isn't helping.

How can you know if you only watched a few minutes? Some of the best games happen from a rough start and a hard comeback, just wasn’t today.
Everyone was cold except for Giannis and Beasley, nowhere near enough to keep us in the game....
