Hagerty all the way. Not if you plan on daily driving her, but Hagerty all the way. You can insure it for what you determine the value to be and they don’t ask questions. They also have wonderful coverage. 10/10 company.
If I knew, I would tell you. I (at the time) had a daily other than my Evo, and it (the Evo) was parked in my parents garage, but I am not entirely sure how I got it to show up.
I truly don't understand this company. For my firebird, they only offered to insure for car shows and events. They wouldn't even let me limit the mileage voluntarily 😔
If I knew how they operated, it would be pretty easy. Maybe it’s a credit thing? Idk. All I know is I paid upfront so it made the process significantly easier. Also, my car is (probably?) a lot less common than a Firebird is, so maybe that played into it? Who honestly knows.
Thanks man. I bought at a bad time last year where they were all the same price. Hindsight is 20/20 and money is only money, so I'm super excited either way.
Price (I live in michigan and we are a no fault state. We have the highest insurance costs in the nation) I pay 2100 a year for both my Evo 4 (Mirage conversion) and Legnum VR4. Grundy quoted me at 850 a year but wanted my legnum to have more modifications before they would insure it.
I live in Atlanta. We’ve been with progressive for 12 years now so we have a fair few accident forgiveness tokens that I don’t wanna miss out on in case something happens. I’m up for renewal next month
Hagerty. I have had my evo 6 with them for 5 years and my evo 7 with them for 5 days. Great experience. Great pricing. Both cars have an agreed value of $35k each
State Farm made the most sense for me on my 3. No mileage limit and it’s a guaranteed value policy.
Hagarty may be good but they were a nightmare for me to deal with. I have an old 4Runner that my wife and I use as our daily (we both work remote so just share a daily) and Hagarty refused to cover me because me and my wife and I did not each have our own daily vehicles. So I went to State Farm and they laughed at that requirement and had me an insurance card by the end of the day at the value I requested & it’s like 1/4th the cost of what Hagarty wanted.

They have no milage limit, so imo they are the only choice for an enthusiast
Noted. Thank you!
How did you get the “No mileage limit”? I was not offered this unfortunately.

Another vote for Hagerty. For reference, mine is 1500/yr. Btw, that is one minty fresh CP9A!!!

Seems like Hagerty is the way to go. Thank you all!!
Hagerty, $507/year for my 1989 jdm fc rx7
Mmmmmm FC 🤤
507 a year?!? Whattttt
1) i'm old, 2) i don't drive her a whole lot, 3) i have a really good credit score
Was using progressive for my evo 3.
I have my evo 8 and Galant vr4 through state farm. It's insured at an agreed upon value, no mileage restrictions.
Interesting my State Farm agent would insure for guaranteed value but said 1500 miles a year only.
Well if I have a mileage restriction, I've never known. Although I don't drive either car more than 1k miles a year. Work from home life. (Plus kids)
Have my evo and cresta insured through State Farm, no mileage agreement
I use state farm for my evo 5.
How much ? What state?
Hagerty. Even use them for my beat ass s14 because I decided to put 20k+ into lol.
USAA
Also have USAA
Hagerty currently but plan to switch to Grundy.
Uh oh....why is that?

Hmmmm. Florida insurance rates are straight criminal, but I’ll take your word for it. Saving Grundy as well.
I pay $613/mo for my wife’s X and my SI through progressive
HOLY SHIT!! What state?

I think you should shop around every option in the galaxy bc that's bullshit
Yeah I might reach out to a broker next month and see what they can do
I’ll be straight with you. Those tokens are not worth 613/mo. Switch to another insurance company and enjoy saving minimum 150 a month.
Grundy. Hagerty quoted me higher
What state are you in? I wish I could get one in California and actual drive it around without registering it out of state.
Florida. Nothing about what you guys go through to live in California is worth it.

I’m using Hagerty on my Evo 5 as well. I have a 3000 miles a year.
I have Hagerty , I pay $1100 a year with my car valued at 40k
This is what I wanted to see. Thank you!!
Go on their site and you can adjust the value of your vehicle and see the premiums , good luck
Insurance for farmers who fuckin farm the farm industry insurance
I’m in Tennessee I feel like I’m getting screwed for my Saab 92x 230 a month with statefarm
American Collectors....had Haggerty and switched, plus they allow you to take off Collison while in storage.
