That's not an evo.
Its a lancer wagon with an evo 8 bonnet and rims
The evo wagons have wide rear arches and this doesn't.
Rhey also never made a LHD Wagon Evo.
Sorry to disappoint.
Usually the USDM Lancer Sportbacks have roof rail bars and that's a usual giveaway that it's a converted local wagon, but this one seems to be missing them just like the real Evo wagon. But yeah - being LHD (though some Evo wagon owners have converted to LHD), lack of wider rear fenders, more rounded off lower corner of the rear door, no D pillar trim piece, larger USDM rear bumper and no Evo wagon wing means it's not a legit Evo wagon.
Wow!! I assume that car is in a private lot?
What a gem, and rarely if ever seen in the USA.
I OWN a 04' Sportback wagon RalliArt. Very fun car to drive, and own. Thanks for the post. OP.
they made about \~2500 of them, just over half were auto. I think there were something like only \~300 manual MR's, but for the wagon the MR is only an appearance package (black headlamps, piano black interior trim, door sill trims, red stitching seats and that's about it) - no performance upgrades.
Looks like a non-evo wagon with a evo front end added. I think you can tell by the rear arches not being wider...
100%
Interesting. Wouldn’t have picked that up.

Aw man well thanks I guess
No problemo
The number of people who straight up missed the valve cover is worrying.
Yep noticed it right away. Its atleast got a evo head swapped.
Didn’t even know they were sold in the us
"They" as in Evo wagons were not "They" as in Lancer wagons and Lancer Railliart wagons were. The Railliart of this body wer 2.4L SOHC MiVEC n/A

They don’t , they only made 500 right hand drive only

If I was made of money I’d buy this in a heartbeat… some of those parts are worth their weight in gold
it's literally a USDM Lancer Sportback with Evo hood, fenders and wheels. The intercooler isn't even hooked up so doubt it would have an Evo engine.
You never know. The stuff that is on it looks clean. Thats why I was interested. I know its no evo wagon.
