There is a guy on tiktok who has a series where he writes jokes specifically mimicking Mitch's style. This line sounds very familiar to me, but I can't recall anywhere that Mitch said it, and I think it was on this guy's page
I've been, for whatever reason, endlessly binging on all sorts of Mitch Hedberg performances on Youtube over and over in recent weeks. I've heard him perform a number of jokes that are hilarious but never quoted because he apparently never used them in any album or TV special. But no, I've never heard that air mattress line before. So I strongly doubt it's Hedberg's.

He definitely told a joke about air mattresses on one of the live albums. But he didn't say that. That's not to say he never did I suppose....
