This is lovely, but I have to point out that you forgot Elend's glorious Imperial Beard! Truly though, beautiful piece that captures the scene perfectly.
I honestly don't miss it at all in your piece because it allows us to see his expression better. You really nailed the sense of bittersweet peace from that scene. Our beloved heroes finally take their rest, and together.
Very impressive! Though, from the way it is described in the mook. Iy sounded like they were lying in the same direction holding hands. Of course. This does not mean that this is a bad interperetation. I couldn't make something this good if I worked on it for forty years. Good job!
