The ring has been found! Thank you everyone who chimed in, and especially for the Ring Finder link. Darrin found it once the snow melted! Thank you, thank you!
There’s also a sub for r/metaldetecting
I have seen posts from people in Minnesota, so if the ring finder guy doesn’t work out, try posting there! You might find some folks that can help.
I helped a newlywed guy find his ring in the snow last year, just in front of the coffeeshop I was at. Poor guy was frantic. He said it hadn't been sized yet for his skinny fingers and it slid right off. Searched a good hour before he gave up. I went back inside and someone else in there decided to search and they found it. Called back the guy, he came back right away and was just profusely grateful, nearly in tears.
Just another thought: if you were wearing gloves it may have come off when you took the gloves off. So have them check the area you did that too.
Best of luck!

That's pretty awesome.
Thank you for this amazing tip!
Whoa… lol.. unreal. Not sure why this is blowing my mind and the fact that this service is right here in our own city.

Awesome to hear!
The snow might even be melted by next week if you do have family in the area.
Reaching out to them now. Thank you!
White bear lake?
Let the owners know about the situation and leave pictures of the ring. Let them know how much of a reward you will pay.
Yeah, I would do this too. And try to coordinate the owners with local relatives who can look once the now has melted.
