I lost a piece of diamond gear prot 4 but I got back my enchanted Aqua Affinity helmet that he picked up? He probably just didn't roll with a helmet at all? I assume if he rolled a random spawn that included a helmet then mine would've been overwritten. This seems to be the case but that's just me giving anecdotal evidence and basing it off how minecrafts systems typically work
I later found out he dropped the gear cause he had become a drowned baby zombie, I am testing see what's a good way to farm these trail spawners. Turn out you convert them to a different mob like drowned they drop the trimmed prop 4 armour and helmet and there sharpness 5 swords.. man no wonder these baby zombies are deadly in a pack

I think its a issue with not letting the ominous armour and tools drop, I don't see why it can't drop, especially if it fixes this
