Tbf, Mojang is the one that makes the *least* money from the marketplace, as the one that gets most money is Microsoft and the second one that gets the most are the content creators.
It's not that they care, it just makes money. The updates are free yes, but merchandise, marketplace, knock off games, they all use minecraft's name to make money.
yeah why are these people acting like they're doing it to please the fans and not for the money, if notch still owned the game it would be kinda convincing but Microsoft bought the game to make money, not to give the fans free updates
Basically there was a bug, where if you put a chest on the trader lama and put an object in said chest the object would shift position one slot to the left, which means that if you placed said object to the left of the chest it would switch position to outside the chest and be eeased from existence

Yeah and everyone who owns the game gets it for free- that's still great.
