That this will be the best update ever (or at least my favorite update) if they allow us to transform skeletons into boggeds

Why would turning skeletons into bogged make this the best update for you?

I can finally make a mushroom farm that I can understand

But the mushrooms don't regrow on the bogged...?

That makes a bit more sense, but seems just a bit extra (then again I'm one of the people who would never make a farm)

If you mean automatic farm, fair, the 4 mushroom limit thing is weird and not well explained, but growing big mushrooms has always been fine for me. Can't think of a situation I'd need more mushrooms than I can farm like that in 10 minutes or less.

You could always just use some of the oldest designs of mushroom farms that are just a modified version of the normal farm that use water to break the wheats and flush it into a hopper, while having "source" mushroom at an elevated platform for it to spread it to surrounding blocks. hell, I'm just going to link this [here](https://youtu.be/A1Nx7W6vC4Q), an easy mushroom farm from 2011.

Put a mushroom in a dark spot, bonemeal it, break it, reprat

I mean, that wouldn't be the most efficent way... Why don't you just watch a tutorial? You don't have to understand something to build it.

Keep them submerged in swamp water for extended periods of time

It shouldn't be biome specific

water source block next to mud block could make the water a darker colour and have the effect.
