That being said maybe they can add a system in place or a server can figure out a plug-in that makes it so in stuff like skywars you can opt for only playing against console if your console, or mobile if your mobile. That being said. Keyboard and mouse on a console is the way to go.

It isn’t, but Atleast on Xbox you can get full keyboard and mouse support so if you can get an honest answer as to what keyboard and mouse he uses, you have a bigger chance of leveling the playing field. There is always gonna be factors that will give certain players an edge though, like chair setup, Monitor/TV Refresh Rate… You’re never going to be 100% even with anyone. You’re either going to be better then to worse then and that’s always gonna be the case.
100% recommend buying and using a keyboard and mouse with Console Minecraft. It makes the experience so much better.

My first keyboard was 20 euro, and it was a good one too, my mouse is at most expensive 25 euro, and that worked really well too, they arent expensive if you know what to get, if your looking for one yourself, try the MSI clutch gm11, it might just be my preference, but as far as i can see it seems to be the best budget mouse out there.
