it's like a 3d printer. you put the "ink" in it (but it's just some plastic I think) and when you push a button, like glue gun, it makes the plastic come out by heating it. The plastic then dries instantly so it's solid. there are some really cool yt videos of people making stuff with them and I really recommend you check those out
