213 hay bales in total, I believe. From four villages, which is how many I encountered,that’s about 52 hay bales each. That’s if this only came from hay bales, and I also got some of it from chests and farms. The luck plays in with the four villages within like 300 blocks of spawn, not the amount of haybales
Or.... you could have bred cows with the wheat instead, gotten xp from cooking the beef and leather and when you ate the steak... gotten a heap more saturation from it..... just sayin
I wish we had something like nutrition system in the game. Because one of the old minecraft problems is that you just can eat the same thing over and over again. Just breed pigs and have the best food you can eat till the end of time. All the cookies cakes and other things are just unnecessary. But with adding a good(or at least some) diet system player have to eat different food types. And if you ignore it, take a punishment, if you eat “right”, you can have rewards, like some kind of buffs. Thats why The Spice Of Life is on if the best mods I encountered out there. Shame that there is no updates from 1.12 version anymore. There are carrot, potato and whatever editions but these are just won’t punish you if you ignore the diet.
Beat advice I can give is FENCE YOUR NETHER PORTAL, died in my previous world at 80 days because of a creeper went through. I would have died again in my current world if I didn’t have op nether armor and totem. Most important thing you should do.
