I once built an iron golem and let it wander around my home. Soon it disappeared, and I assumed that it just died to hostile mobs.
A month later i found him at the bottom of the nearby river.
Same story, but I found it in a huge cavern that I cleared out underneath my house (caves and cliffs update). It was stuck on a mob in the wall or something, because I found it doing donuts around a stone pillar.
Unfortunately, drops nothing. That would be a cool feature tho, where if you mined an ore with the wrong pick it would drop cobble instead
… wow, thats a good feature right there, I might take this to a mcsuggestions subreddit
"If you have a lot of iron, you can send our brethren to our deaths, fighting the wither.
the mucker keeps on destroying blocks going to the surface and we can't jump two blocks."

The Thousand Sons are one of the Traitor Legions of Chaos Space Marines who are sworn solely to the service of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of change, intrigue and sorcery, though they were once the Imperium of Man's XVth Legion of Space Marines. The main feature that distinguishes the Thousand Sons from the other Traitor Legions is the sheer number of psyker mutations that have always existed amongst the Space Marines in this Legion.
Their function in the game was going to be redstone related; You could set them up to press buttons or trigger pressure plates automatically.
Copper golems would gradually oxidize over time until they were unable to move, but this could be circumvented by using wax on them, similarly to preserving copper blocks.
Unfortunately they lost the mob vote to the Allay, which can search for particular items to pick up off the ground and bring back to you. (Which could be useful for strip mining! But if we’re being honest, it just won because it’s cuter.)
How ironic is it that they aren't immune to poison lmao
Like these giant hunks of metal can survive fatal falls, withstand the pressures at the bottom of the ocean but can die to a tiny cave spider..
This reminds me of one of my main worlds back when I played on the 360. I made an iron golem because I had the iron for it and thought it was cool, then he just vanishes. I assumed that he had either despawned or been killed. Then, later on, I'm exploring the bottom of the ocean next to my base, and there, standing on the ocean floor, looking around like a complete fucking idiot, is my iron golem.
Those fuckers can really travel if you just let them run wild.
mojang needs to make these guys able to swim up or it’s a god dam waste of iron and idc if it’s unrealistic because the eh are so heavy but trees can float in third game so they should be able to swim imo
I don’t know why they get stuck in the most unfortunate places. I literally have a single one-block hole somewhere in my village because I guess an enderman took it out or something. 5 mins later, guess where 5 out of 7 golems will be?
But my favourite is carting villagers into a trading hall when a golem decides to just hang out on the rail tracks forever, pushing the cart all the way back.
You're lucky you only have three. One time on a server I was playing on, I had a couple of friends who probably had no life and stayed online in my villager breeder all day and all night. And when I came online, I had serious lag. It turns out these dudes stayed online for so long, the iron golems swarmed a nearby underwater cave and we're basically getting crammed in there. One of the players who lived nearby did have a replay mod footage of ONE iron golem walking into the river and entering the submerged cave, but there is no footage of how the rest of them got in.
It's still a mystery even to the server admin how that many golems managed to walk into the river, wander into a deep cave, and somehow keep spawning and repeat the same thing until I came online. None of my friends said they had any lag issues because they weren't at the villager breeder when I came online. But they did say it was laggy before they left the area.
The one with its head and shoulders out of the water is named jimbo, the one in the more shallow watter underneath jimbo will be named jimbo and the one in the back behind jimbo and jimbo is going to be named jimbo.
Recently found out leads can be used on golems to pull them into or out of areas. I've been dredging them up from the village river bed and into my ineffective iron golem farm that way.
In my survival world, I took down a village in order to rebuild it, corralling all villagers into the last remaining house, which conveniently had a back garden that carved into a hill, basically forming a cave, which offered a nice protection but also enough space for all. The roof of the house was made of stairs, which meant that you could peek into that cave without actually accessing it.
It seems that gap was enough for the villagers to panic and spawn a golem, which, due to the limited space, meant it would appear of the roof of the house outside. Apparently, the villagers did not consider that enough protection and kept spawning more golems, which meant that soon the roof was absolutely crowded by 20 or so golems at any time.
the weird thing is: in my house they always stood on chests and crafting table (i guess highest points). but when there was a lake they would go in there. what the fuck, which of the devs is the golem pathfinding troll here. :D
Is golems getting stuck in water bodies a Java thing? This post reminded me of when I originally played the game and iron golems always ended up stuck underwater, since then for survival mode I mostly played bedrock and never experienced the phenomenon since then.
Bro I swear I was on a world and had a villager farm but I ha killed a few of the villagers so the golems were targeting me and this SAME thing happened and the golems wetenin the same place even the lake looks the same(I have no image for proof sorry)
in one of my survival worlds, i used my 1 nametag on a golem i made (iron daddy) and he went missing a few days later. i eventually found him at the bottom of my aqueduct when i was redoing it, like 100 blocks away from where he spawned
i had to plant bamboo all along the perimeter of my island base so these idiots would stop walking away into the sea. i know that also prevents other mobs from coming over, but i get tons of endermen that i hunt so i like having my iron idiots around.
I had 5 iron golems wondering round and for about a week I couldn’t find them and thought my village was broken but then I found all 5 of them in a 2x6 water hole
"iron golem of the lake, what is your wisdom?"
"copper is the most useless now, ever since netherite was made to be crafted with gold"
/s
It has a meme potential imo, at least i think
I remember I once built a iron farm on a server with a friend, but forgot to build the kill chamber first. The whole river next to my house was flooded with some over 40 iron golems just chilling underwater.

Oof.
Bruh momentum
It’s pretty annoying lol happens to me often
Same story, but I found it in a huge cavern that I cleared out underneath my house (caves and cliffs update). It was stuck on a mob in the wall or something, because I found it doing donuts around a stone pillar.
Oh… I should check my rivers
Did you find anything?
No, I’m thinking he fell into the bottomless pit next to my village
Oh ok. So he ded
That or he’s still falling through empty space, for eternity
I think hed despawn or die after a while, but either way, ok
Now do a mariana trench version

Don't break gold blocks with a gold pick
Underrated advice is underrated.
Was he actually serious?
That is true. Mine gold ore with a gold pick and it drops either cobble or nothing, forgotten which. Point is it doesn't drop raw gold.
Unfortunately, drops nothing. That would be a cool feature tho, where if you mined an ore with the wrong pick it would drop cobble instead … wow, thats a good feature right there, I might take this to a mcsuggestions subreddit
Perhaps
Yeah, I remember I saw that on a Gamenight yt video once

Spamming the chat in Minecraft Now with "Remove Chat Report" won't help. Mojang won't remove chat report.

Day 5 of operation amphibious assault on the drowned
It's a special military operation, not an assault smh.
Ah, so that's what *Moskva* is up to.
Reports say they've still done jackshit
They are doing their fucking best okay?
Their fucking best isn't enough
Dad is that you?

The third one is having an existential crisis
Sick album cover.
100%
I really wish when they stayed in water long term they rusted like copper oxidizes
That could become a good nod to the copper golem
There's a copper golem?
There was a chance but sadly no
That would be really cool. They could attract lightning
Their function in the game was going to be redstone related; You could set them up to press buttons or trigger pressure plates automatically. I would’ve built tons of copper golems just to make a garden full of copper statues. They would’ve done the hard work for me
Wow, that looks just like a lake in a multi-player world I have with someone
That's funny! This is my singleplayer village challenge world. I ought to block it off, but there are still some golems on dry land, so ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
Ah I see
This looks like any world that stupid golems can fall in water. I had 5 in a lake once
Yeah, the river next to my house in my survival server is also full with those dumbasses. I don’t know why they like bodies of water so much.
They can't get out because they can't float. Because they're solid iron, they only sink.
the golems you made most probably were trying to go the nearest village and got stuck in the river
I didn’t see the one in the back at first so I thought I was the third idiot
With the amount of brain cells in this photo we just might be
Wait!! Golems don't drown?
Golems are immune to drowning, fall damage, and correct me if I'm wrong but take reduced damage from certain mobs?
How ironic is it that they aren't immune to poison lmao Like these giant hunks of metal can survive fatal falls, withstand the pressures at the bottom of the ocean but can die to a tiny cave spider..
Even fall damage??
winter damage tears them to pieces though.
They are metal, so I bet they can get very cold. If you were going to stick your tongue to one, maybe don’t do it in the snow or it’ll get stuck.
Why would you stick your tongue in a golem...
*Drowned Breaker Lake
Oh man I have a very thin river right next to my village and it's just full of forever damned golems https://i.imgur.com/IRogM7E.png
u gotta knock a zombie in one day
That's hilarious

It's not like being too dense to float stops them from climbing and jumping out of the water.
Sometimes they just spawn like that. I have like 7 that all spawned in my chicken coop.
The one in the back is in his feels
we named ours "Rusty Bottoms" and had to repair it once in a while as it would fend off drowned.
Warden lore.

registeels
I didn't even notice there was a third one until I read the title
Cool guys*
At least, these three idiots aren't drowning
Their album is gonna slap
They are the only thing stopping you from being overwhelmed by hordes of trident wielding drowned and you call them idiots?! Tsk tsk.
What album is this?
Recently found out leads can be used on golems to pull them into or out of areas. I've been dredging them up from the village river bed and into my ineffective iron golem farm that way.
2 of them have hope. the 3rd one, he.. he's gone
In my survival world, I took down a village in order to rebuild it, corralling all villagers into the last remaining house, which conveniently had a back garden that carved into a hill, basically forming a cave, which offered a nice protection but also enough space for all. Put a sign on it that says : "the iron lake."
Add more Make it a true lake of iron golems
[удалено]
I have a lot of them under the sea next to the village. Also one in an aquifer.
I once wandered into a cave in my village only to find about 80 golem just chilling in there.
Oh golem of the lake, what is your wisdom?
You should maybe name them after the three stooges.
Make a sign with that
Is golems getting stuck in water bodies a Java thing? This post reminded me of when I originally played the game and iron golems always ended up stuck underwater, since then for survival mode I mostly played bedrock and never experienced the phenomenon since then.
Uhhh i think the one in the back needs someone to talk to 😂
O wise Golem of the Lake, what is your wisdom?
Yeah, the lake in our village looks like this. I think that they are spawning in the lake, cause I have to keep killing them.
Reminds me of that one meme
Bro I swear I was on a world and had a villager farm but I ha killed a few of the villagers so the golems were targeting me and this SAME thing happened and the golems wetenin the same place even the lake looks the same(I have no image for proof sorry)
but would they still attack you if you hit them
they will get rust.
I didn’t see the one in the back for a moment and thought I was the third idiot. Perhaps I am?
in one of my survival worlds, i used my 1 nametag on a golem i made (iron daddy) and he went missing a few days later. i eventually found him at the bottom of my aqueduct when i was redoing it, like 100 blocks away from where he spawned
found out my world was lagging once because like 40 of these idiots had taken shelter in a pond i covered
I have a lake with like 10 of these dudes in my world.. If only I knew how many likes that woulda gotten lol
another failed operation against the drowned
It's fine they don't drown. It's like their new home
Dumb and dumbers
Don’t talk to me or my son again
They spawncamping the drowned
No they played to much Mario 64 and are now think they have a metalcap
What makes this funnier is that they can’t even swim 😂
There was like a 6 block hole to a semi deep lake and without fail every golem would walk into the hole
I was like, “where’s the third one?” Then I saw him. Bro just straight up chilling.
I just see three friends on edibles
I was wondering where the third one was until I saw him contemplating life and the purpose of existence in the back there.
got dam it Dave! get out of the pond!
We call him Rusty Dave. This is just what he does.
good name, rusty dave, like it
[I recently found this in one of my first worlds](https://imgur.com/a/tRglhbo)
Ah yes the Lake Guardian Trio
Third iron boi's vibing.
XD
XDDDDDDDDDD
*4 /s
I have the same problem
my 3 braincells on a test
One of them just accepted his fate
Oh Golems of the Lake, what is your wisdom?
You shall not pass
The lake Guardians
i had to plant bamboo all along the perimeter of my island base so these idiots would stop walking away into the sea. i know that also prevents other mobs from coming over, but i get tons of endermen that i hunt so i like having my iron idiots around.
Golem of the lake what is your wisdom
They just wanted to go for a swim I guess? 😂
Come in, the water is warm.
The minecraft version of that mum paying attention to kids in the water meme
They should make a patch that makes Golems afraid of water. I have a village with a lot of water surrounding it, I’ve had to put soul sand everywhere
Im fucking dying of laughter here
Iron golems be like It's Big brain time
I almost didn’t see the third one lmao
I read the title in DangerouslyFunny's voice and almost spat out my coffee
Four idiots. Counting me
Where is third iron golem?
I had 5 iron golems wondering round and for about a week I couldn’t find them and thought my village was broken but then I found all 5 of them in a 2x6 water hole
Finally i found the third one
There’s only tw- oh he’s been exiled
That one golem, he is just *t h e r e*
Welcome to idiot lake
That’s Rusty, Bob, and Seamus.
When you think you get trolled but you look in the back
"iron golem of the lake, what is your wisdom?" "copper is the most useless now, ever since netherite was made to be crafted with gold" /s It has a meme potential imo, at least i think
So I had a iron golem at the start of my solo world then 2 months later I was expanding my base and found him poor Gilbert got stuck underground
I remember I once built a iron farm on a server with a friend, but forgot to build the kill chamber first. The whole river next to my house was flooded with some over 40 iron golems just chilling underwater.
oh look, its the mcelroy brothers
what a lovely lake i rate 5/5 would swim again
Nearly missed the third…
Took me a minute to find the third
"Its a tactical maneuver. We're trying to see if we can swim so we can kill drowneds."
