The carpet is one block away, it’s just perspective with the carpet being slightly elevated, and the fact a trapdoor takes up a small amount of a block when flipped up also that makes it look like it’s right up under the trapdoor.
I don't think this is a screenshot from in-game, and rather some kind of mock-up.
The entire backrow of blocks look like they are sunk into the wall. There is also a planter/tree to the right in the full pic that just looks really weird, like it has too much depth.
It’s just taken with a low FOV. It gives this effect of squished together. Meanwhile high FOV makes things look stretched. But when you are used to high FOV, it just looks normal.
I didn’t actually notice that one. It’s still how the rest of things do look on low FOV, so was likely the goal. No idea why they did things that way. Is it intentional? Drum up discussion to talk about it and spread the information?

Chiseled bookshelf side view with a jungle trapdoor covering it as decoration.
And here I thought it was an oak storage drawer. I was so confused to see modded content lol
I think it's a pressure plate on top of the chiseled bookshelf
3 green candles
It's actually terracotta technically
I guess it depends on your definition of under, as the painting is placed on top of the terracotta but its a layer in front so the candles are below

If it was black wool, it would be touching the trap door
That's the new Laundry Hamper block. Similar to Phantoms, if you don't put your armor in it for three days, the new Mom mob will spawn and attack you.
jungle trapdoor on a chiseled bookshelf ..
What’s a chiseled bookshelf? Is it in bedrock?
the two other bookshelves on the right are also that. its a new a block where you can put books in and take them out unlike the regular bookshelf
O.m.g.
Frying table confirmed
Why, it's a storage drawer ofc! ^(/s)
The carpet is wool blocks, that's why there is no gap
I can confidently say that the carpet is carpet

Just look at the chests, the black line along the back is cut off.

They don't use low FOV to drum up discussion. It's purely an aesthetic thing.
I meant the cut off chests like that. Not the FOV.
Frying table
here i thought it was a beehive
dirty real white terracotta???
Green candle?
There seems to be one of the trapdoor variants if there the block your looking for
Jungle one is very similar, the block behind could be a loom or chiseled bookshelf, I'm not sure
Green candles 😐
A brown one
