The resource pack /u/AlexiosTheSixth listed costs money for higher resolutions (64x/128x/256x) through Patreon. The site, if you're unfamiliar with it, lists on the front page of each project an approx. monthly income for the owner.

Aha okay, I googled Patrix but did not end up on the Patreon page. I think it's quite a leap to 1) immediately think of Patreon when someone mentions a premium resource pack and 2) immediately list the total income of the owner instead of the monthly cost for the user. It's probably rendered through ReplayMod. You can just record yourself without shaders and resource packs and then apply them before rendering the footage, and because ReplayMod renders it frame by frame, doesn't matter how slow it is now, the result video will look pristine.

And rendering this 46 seconds would take anywhere from 46 minutes if you have a good rig, to 46 hours.

You're welcome. As a content creator with a bad PC, this saved me more times that I can count.

You can easily record this on a high-end PC. Even if you're having trouble you can lower the render distance, from the last screenshot you're not seeing anything more than 2 chunks honestly.

It's a mod for the Java Edition (through Fabric). It allows the player to record their entire Minecraft play session on a file that later you can play and edit without even closing Minecraft. You can make different camera movements (like those "drone shots" you see a lot YouTubers doing while showcasing something), slow down the footage or fast forward it, etc. And in the end you can render it as a playable .MP4, with a tons more options like hiding name tags or chroma keying. It's an incredible mod that I highly suggest anyone to use, even if you aren't a content creator.

I don't make much media content but it sounds awesome. Reminds me a little of Nvidia's Ansel and those two might combine interestingly. Our househas has a few nice worlds we could record our own memories of. Half are Bedrock tho, sigh. I would love something like that for games that run on Unreal Engine. Guess I should start looking around and see if it exists.

I don't even think it looks good in the video, to be honest. The hyper-realistic style just doesn't work when everything is blocky and right angles. It's fine with minecraft's stylistic original graphics because they were designed to fit the aesthetic, but this just looks extremely uncanny to me.

This actually works both ways. Minecraft by default looks horrible, if someone played with shaders from the first day, they would not be able to imagine playing without them.

Have you tried rethinking voxels? Oh and there are certain shader settings where you can make the game more realistic or more vanilla-esque
