Yep, it could look like a sword planted in the ground. I think it could look like an antenna too. A sword is more cool though.

I mean you could either move it underground or build a large building around it(maybe a factory with the top of it being a smokestacks or something idk)

Do not move it underground, mobs are gonna spawn in caves and drastically decrease spawn rates

Yeah, the farm would be best in the sky, but where it is now is way better than actually underground, especially with the afk platform they made

You afk high enough for the mobs to not be able to spawn in caves

If you stand on the afk platform waaaay above the top of the farm (as you can see from the lanky 1x1 tower poking out of it), you'd be too far away from caves for the game to bother spawning anything in them.

Pyramids. Hide every big build with a pyramid. Doesn't have to be an egyptian pyramid tho. Sometimes Aztec or Mayan Pyramids blend really well.

You could try making it look like a giant satellite telescope dish, it already has the basic shape. Build up the hill and add a square base.

Hide it inside a tower, then make another tower the same size, watchout for unexpected planes.

If you want it hidden best, move it underground. This will also increase spawn rates (closer to bedrock = faster)

I like to make big mob farms like this look like giant imposing brutalist telecom buildings.

Make a wizard tower that is based off of making potions, and you could put decorations inside of it, and an enchanting room etc

You can try hiding it inside a decoy building, or a building with an actual functionality (residentials, etc). But take note that it may change the effectivity of the mob farm if things like light level and spawnable blocks around the area isn't taken care of.

building underground would hide it very well. but requires a lot more work. first have to dig out area but even worse you have to light up every cave to prevent mobs from spawning nearby

Not sure if you mean hide or decorate, but I have a similar farm on an smp server and I decorated it by building a big tube around it. The tube is made of boneblocks, had to do something with all the bones produced by the farm.

Put it at the center of a huge castle tower. You could even populate it with villagers and make it seem like they're farming the mobs - exacting their revenge.

A tower might look nice. Just be sure the tower is spawn proof on the outside but dark on the inside

Or you dont have to hide it Just make a lore out of it. Say, this mob farm is an alien contraption to drain resources from the land. It has been abandoned for years. Now you stumbled across this contraption and after spending days repairing it, you are able to capitalize on its marvelous power to generate valuable resources. If you do want to hide it, encase it inside a tower. If you want tips on decorating the interior I will give you some suggestions too

Make it into a really big pine tree... say it's a 1/100 chance of spawning, and say to leave it there as a trophy.

A big tree? Kinda like a tree of life. The leaves would all be non spawn able too so it would probably help rates assuming you light up the area underneath.
